People seem to be willing to say just about anything, but when it comes to the actually doing what we say . . . well, that is where reality sets in.

Testimony Time will be about the reality of our lives of faith as they intersect with a faithless society. It will be about the assurances that we can have regarding our standing with God that will enable us to live boldly for Jesus.

It is about being a people whose focus is consistently toward heaven in a world where compromise, or worse, seems to be the order of the day. Join us as we look at how each of us can be a living example of faith.

This Sabbath, join us for a special worship service centered on Christ’s call to live lives of purpose and influence. In the sermon, "Be Memorable," we will explore how following Jesus' example can leave a lasting impact on those around us. Through willingness, time in God's Word, presence, listening, and service, we can fulfill the Great Commission and point others to a loving relationship with Christ. Come be encouraged to live a life that reflects Jesus and leaves a legacy of faith.

In our church, we have all kinds of different people who “lead” many different things. Some of these “leaders” do things pretty much by themselves. There are others who are “leading” various groups. In fact, without leaders, not much happens. But more important than just doing things is the need to do the right things. This Sabbath is very special because the leader of the Rocky Mountain Conference will be sharing with us. Dave VandeVere is a dedicated man of God who I have had the privilege of knowing for several years. And one of the things I appreciate about him is his very genuine nature and down-to-earth way of interacting with people. I am thankful that he is coming to share with us this Sabbath.

If there is a word in our vocabulary that is extremely misunderstood, it is the word love. We use the word for so many things, but does it always mean the same thing? For instance, I love chocolate (that should be no surprise) and I love my wife. But while I would sacrifice anything and everything for my wife, I don’t think I would do that for a piece of chocolate. So obviously, there is something different about that word “love” when it relates to my sweetheart verses my sweet tooth.
This Sabbath, we will continue our journey through 1 John as he is trying to explain what we also need to understand. Love Made Plain is what this Sabbath is all about.

Several years ago, a group of Young Adults in the South Denver area formed a group that they called Vine and Branches. They have been meeting together socially. They have had monthly vespers in a number of different churches, but this group is wanting to become more missional, more engaged in service. As a result, I asked one of the leaders (Reuben Kahler) of this Young Adult group, who also is a key part of our church family if they would be willing to lead out in a worship service sometime. It is something they have been talking about, and we will have them here this Sabbath.
