Chamunda-Yama Mandir is a Colorado nonprofit organization whose purpose is to foster the study & application of the Vedic, and Hindu traditions. Its purpose is to provide a safe and sacred space for learning, fellowship and devotion Seekers of all ages and backgrounds are always welcome! Though primarily a Kali and Yama temple, Chamunda-Yama Mandir does not represent any specific teacher, lineage,

or denomination, but supports and upholds all traditions that value the transcendental aspect of life. Our gatherings are small and friendly and each person is encouraged to participate as they like. Mayer (AKA Yamajit) –a professional educator living in Denver who holds a Masters degree in Archetypal Psychology. He was called to the devotion of the Divine Mother in the form of Ma Kali in 2001, and has traveled throughout India and Nepal visiting many of her holy places, both as a religious pilgrim and volunteer.
