Kadampa Meditation Center Colorado Everyone welcome! We offer daily meditation & Buddhism in Denver, Boulder, and surrounding areas.

Our classes and events are open to everyone in all walks of life and from any faith or background. You don’t have to be a Buddhist to learn how to meditate or to benefit from it. Classes are suitable for beginners and those with previous experience.

The Southwest Dharma Celebration starts this Friday evening. Feel free to register and join in for the entire event, or just a part of it. Gather together with Kadampa Buddhist practitioners from all around the Southwest United States in a celebration of faith, wisdom and compassion. Gen Kelsang Gomlam will give the Empowerment of White Tara and teachings on subtle impermanence. This will be an amazing event.

In this weekend mountain retreat we will explore the innumerable benefits that come from developing and maintaining a wise compassionate mind. In these sessions we will learn about – and practice – a beautiful purification ritual that helps clear away difficulties in developing faith and conviction in Dharma and in making progress on the stages of the path to enlightenment. As with all purification practices, it also prevents our future suffering by purifying the negativity that comes from our past non-virtuous actions (i.e., negative karma).

Four times each year we do what is called Preliminary Guide retreats designed to build inner merit, purify negativity and increase wisdom. These retreats are held on the weekends and are open to anyone who has a sincere interest in the practice. ❤️💚💜
