The parish office will be closed on Labor Day. There will be one Mass at 9:00 a.m. and the building will be locked after Mass. There is no Eucharistic Adoration in the chapel.

• God inspired the human authors of Scripture through the Holy Spirit.
• The human authors were real people who wrote using their own language, culture, literary styles, and abilities.
• Because God inspired them, the books of the Bible faithfully teach the truth that God wanted revealed for our salvation.

Psalm 148 calls on all of creation to praise God, and this includes the stars. The stars, in their vastness and beauty, are seen as a testament to God's creative power and ability to bring order to the universe.

It’s been a summer without rain. Our gardens have suffered. When all is stripped away, when the blessings dry up, and when the promises feel silent, do we still rejoice in the Lord? God calls us to exult in him in good times and in bad, and to trust in His plan for us.

After successfully hosting that National Conference of Burmese American Catholics four weeks ago, which was attended by approximately a thousand people, our Colorado Myanmar community spent the day celebrating their hard work with a picnic and volleyball. Fr. Paul Htut, our parochial vicar, took his role as referee for the volleyball game seriously. And some of the men played a version of volleyball known as cane ball in which no hands are allowed - head and feet only!
