Today we marched alongside Colorado Faith Communities United to End Gun Violence , Colorado Ceasefire, and thousands of others at the 40th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Marade in honor of MLK and his commitment to justice and nonviolence. May we be part of continuing the work. 💚

☀️ Today our Guns to Gardens volunteers gathered for a beautiful time of food, fellowship, connection and healing practices. Thank you to those who brought their gifts — blacksmithing, baking, creativity, advocacy — today and thank you to ALL of our Guns to Gardens volunteers who are a part of our healing movement.

We are excited to report we had a successful safe disposal event on Saturday, May 10th at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church Denver! We safely disposed of 49 unwanted fi****ms, the parts of which will be forged into garden tools, art, and jewelry. This brings our total number of fi****ms disposed of through Guns to Gardens Metro Denver to over 650! 👏🏽

We are excited to report we had a successful safe disposal event on Saturday, March 22 at Denver Community Church! We safely disposed of 37 unwanted fi****ms, the parts of which will be forged into garden tools, art, and jewelry. This brings our total number of fi****ms disposed of through Guns to Gardens Metro Denver to over 600! 👏🏽

We are excited to report we had a successful firearm safe surrender event to wrap up 2024 at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Northglenn! ⛪️ Eighteen unwanted fi****ms were destroyed! This brings our total number of fi****ms destroyed through Guns to Gardens Metro Denver to 572. 🎉 Thank you to our host church, volunteers, gun owner participants, donors, and those who pray for our work. 💚
