Good Morning Church Family today we celebrate the memorial of Saint Charles Lwanga and Companions.

Saint Charles Lwanga and his companions were a group of young Ugandan Christians, mostly court pages, who were killed in 1886 for refusing to give up their faith and submit to King Mwanga II’s immoral demands. They are remembered as the Uganda Martyrs and honored for their courage, fidelity, and witness to Christianity in Africa.[faith.nd +2]
Their martyrdom became especially important because it inspired the growth of Christianity in Uganda, and Charles Lwanga is also remembered as a patron saint of youth and Catholic action in much of tropical Africa.

Prayer for intercession

Saint Charles Lwanga and companions, brave witnesses of Christ, pray for us. Intercede that we may stay faithful, courageous, and pure in heart, and help us to follow Jesus with joy, no matter the cost. Amen

Good morning Church Family, our study of the saints have resumed, thank you for your support, today we celebrate Saint Phillip Neri

Saint Philip Neri was a 16th-century Catholic priest known for his deep faith, cheerful personality, and devotion to helping others. He lived in Rome, where he worked to renew people’s spiritual lives through prayer, confession, teaching, and care for the poor, and he founded the Congregation of the Oratory.

He is often remembered as the “Apostle of Rome” and the “saint of joy” because he encouraged holiness through kindness, humor, and simple goodness.

Prayer for his intercession

Saint Philip Neri, joyful servant of Christ, pray for us.
Help us to love God with humility, to serve others with gladness, and to grow in holiness each day.

Meet The Lydias, an all-women's group here at All Saints. This group is open to all women and costs $10 per year to belong.

You get fellowship, prayer, fun activities, and friends.

They sponsor potlucks for everyone in the parish; you just bring a dish to share. They have two bake sales a year, with all the proceeds going to the church.

If a Lydia passes away, they help with service receptions.

They have one breakfast a year and a picnic. The Lydias also send cards to members who are no longer attending meetings and visit them in nursing homes.

They have one business meeting a month on the first Tuesday of the month.
