THIS JUST IN! All Angel Tree gifts are in and accounted for. Thank you Lifeline people for your generosity, and for your heart to serve our community. As a church, you have helped make Christmas just a little more special for over 20 families in our community, providing 50 personalized gifts to 30 different children.

And special thanks to Maisie and those who have joined her in orchestrating this great effort. No great thing comes easy. Hard work from many friends have contributed to what promises to be a wonderful partnership with families in our community in years to come!

When you read the Bible, you will find that there are limitless applications to its forever truths. Something we say often at Lifeline is

-----everything that is physical as an element that is spiritual, and everything that is spiritual has an element that is physical-----

When we worship, we are making a physical posture and a vocal declaration for a spiritual expression. And when we express ourselves spiritually, we are inviting the Spirit of God to guide us and to speak to us.

Whether you are eager to participate in public worship, or if you find it terrifying, know that God is going to meet you. He always does. Actually, he is delighted to spend time with you in worship. Psalm 34 says, "I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises...I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears."

Let that be your story too. Come worship with us this Sunday at 10:30.

Speakers of life give life as they do life together.

What if church is supposed to be more than a thing you do. What if instead it was a community you were part of? When we connect with other people in a Christian community, we experience God's full intention for his church. In fact, church was never meant to be a service time or a building. When Jesus commissioned the apostles in Matthew 28 and Acts 1, he was calling them to assemble a people. We are those people. We are the ones who share in the great blessings of God's family.

When we participate in things like Life Groups, we are opting in to the call of Christ to BE his church. And in doing so, we share in the life of Christ!
