We are a student group that collectively shares moral commitments based on the foundations of Islam rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah (Life of the Prophet Muhammad). UNT is home to a large number of Muslim stu

dents from a wide spectrum of cultural backgrounds. Everyone is invited to come to our meetings and participate in our events. The Denton Mosque is located close to campus, off highway 35W at:

DENTON MASJID GRAND IFTAR FESTIVAL THIS THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!🌙🤩🍽️🕌

Join us for an evening of learning and sharing the blessed month of Ramadan with delicious food, supporting Muslim businesses, and donating to charity! The Islamic Society of Denton was the first mosque built in the state of Texas, established in 1981 by students, for students, in the Denton area!

We encourage all students and Denton community members to bring their friends and family of all backgrounds to the largest event happening this Ramadan in Denton, TX!

This event is in unity with the Muslim Student Association at UNT, TWU, and LSC, Islamic Society of Denton, Students of East Africa, Pakistani Student Association, Palestine Solidarity Committee, Faces of African Muslims, Mu Delta Alpha, and Arab Students Association.
