“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no-one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: ‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.’”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭7‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭NIV

4 Baptisms.
Hearts transformed.
Many nations represented.

A glimpse of Heaven. People from every tribe, tongue, and nation gathering around Jesus.

We are grateful for what God is doing in our city and among His people.

Join us again this Friday, May 27th at 7PM for another night of worship, prayer, and the presence of God.

Prayer is not a last resort for the believer.

Throughout scripture, men and women of God sought His face in humility, repentance, and dependence. Before breakthrough came prayer. Before healing came prayer. Before revival came prayer.

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
James 5:16

There is something holy about believers gathering together in honesty, humility, and faith, who carrying one another’s burdens before the Lord. God never intended for His people to walk alone. We are called to pray for one another, strengthen one another, and seek His presence together.

“Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing.”
1 Timothy 2:8

Prayer realigns the heart.
Prayer destroys shame.
Prayer awakens hunger for God.
Prayer works.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
2 Chronicles 7:14

Take time this week to pray. Pray for your family. Pray for your church. Pray for your city. Pray for repentance, healing, unity, and awakening.

In 2018, the Hutchinson family was sent out under the commission of our One Association global family to establish what is now known as Remnant Church. What began as a simple worship and prayer gathering above a pawn shop on Woodrow Lane has, by the grace of God, grown into a unified body of believers and a strong team of ministries serving Denton and the greater DFW region.

It is one of our greatest honors to serve as shepherds within this church family and to play a small part in what God is doing throughout our city and beyond.

Throughout Scripture, God has always carried out His purposes through people walking together in unity. Whether it was Moses, Aaron, and Hur; Solomon, Zadok, and Nathan; Paul, Silas, and Timothy; Peter, James, and John; or even the unity displayed between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — the Kingdom of God has always advanced through faithful teams and covenant relationships.

We are incredibly expectant for the generational work God is building through Remnant Church.

Currently, Devin & Jamie Hutchinson, Cason & Kendal Shobert, Michael & Jennifer Hutchinson, and Landon & Emily Wray serve together as the pastoral team as the Lord continues to grow and establish the work. We are also deeply thankful for Morgan & Brittany Hunter, who faithfully serve as elders and leaders among us.

We believe the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Because of this, we remain committed to:

* Gathering those who are being called to know the Father
* Growing every believer added to this family in truth, character, and spiritual maturity
* Giving each person the tools and discipleship needed to fulfill their role in the end-time harvest
* Guarding the culture, convictions, and way of life that empower us to participate in such a sacred calling

Our prayer is that Remnant Church would continue to be a place marked by worship, prayer, discipleship, growing in the knowledge of scripture, humility, and the tangible presence of God for generations to come.

We are just about two weeks away from another powerful time of worship and prayer on the square. Here are some photos from last year’s event. Please stand in prayer with us leading up to our next event which begins May 22nd at 7PM. We’d also love to see you there standing with us on the courthouse lawn.

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
