📖We Received the Word.
Now let’s carry what God spoke to us into this week🚶

👉🏻Galatians 5:16 “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”

We are called to walk in freedom, serve one another in love 🤍 and live by the Spirit-not by the desires of the flesh.

Reflection question: Are you using your freedom to serve others in love, or to satisfy yourself?.

A powerful reminder from Pastor Alton. The Holy Spirit who dwells within you is limitless. He desires to lead you, teach you, and reveal all things to you. Are you making room to listen? 🕊️✨

**SURRENDER.**

If you want to know more of God, you have to surrender more of yourself.
Pastor Alton shared a powerful reminder about what it truly means to surrender. 🧎

This week, we’re taking time to personally read **Acts 1–2** to reflect on surrender, trusting God, and being willing to follow where He leads.📖

We are looking for a few good families and people to help out!

Our international students are coming soon to town to attend TWU or UNT! Imagine going clear across the world and you can only bring a few things with you!
Let’s make them feel welcome by donating our GENTLY used furniture or picking up some household necessities! The laundry baskets that were at the front of church are for these “Welcome baskets”.
If you need to wait until next week to get one you can, OR you can purchase a laundry basket and fill it with the items suggested. Think of things that would make their lives easier in this country! Let’s show that amazing American hospitality!

Drop off is Augus 9 at 2PM at the CCC 1305 West Oak Street, Denton, TX!
