This Sunday, October 4th is First Fruits! We will ‼️NOT‼️ be having a meal together this Sunday as there is an event happening directly after church. Again, there is NO potluck after church!

Wow - what an amazing uplifting Sunday! 🙌🏼✨

We had a wonderful time with our guest speaker, Mark Roberts- a 2009 Denton Freedom House graduate and the Executive Director of First Refuge Ministries.

We walked through Psalm 32 📖, focusing on how the infinite mercy of God should humble believers to confess their sins. He highlighted that true freedom, safety and joy aren’t found in hiding our transgressions, but in bringing them into the light through sincere confession. 🤍

We fellowshipped, worshipped and listened to God’s word. 📖

👉🏻We were introduced to the book of James focusing on what it looks like to grow in spiritual maturity by walking closely with Christ and yielding to the Holy Spirit.

👉🏻We were reminded that following Jesus is more than a surface-level faith, it’s a life of genuine transformation, obedience, and action.
