MCTD celebrated their 35th Anniversary yesterday. It was a time of good fellowship, good food, sharing of hearts, honoring our founders and remembering the foundation on which this community was laid. We are not a dead community! Christ Jesus has made sure of that! We continue to move forward and persevere. God is faithful and He will do it. ♥️

CELEBRATION OF LIFE for our Christian brother Rick Gorman.
May 30th, 10-1130 @ Multiply Church Suite 5 / The Gathering Place.
(formerly Concord First Assembly).

Active member of Mid Carolinas Tres Dias / mctd.net serving as the Communications Chair & Tech Team for numerous years. Rick diligently sent out emails to the community for upcoming Men’s & Women’s weekends and/or our Monthly Secuelas.

Rick was very active in sending out these MCTD Community emails & notifications up to a few weeks before his passing from death unto life eternal with our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ.

Rick’s original weekend was Mens # 41, March 3-6, 2011 which was held at Camp Dogwood on Lake Norman. He sat at the table of ‘The Possibles’ with Ken Parker back in 2011. Fred Heffner was the Rector for Men’s # 41 with fellow team members like Rick Krenzer, Mike Bostic, Pete Rutledge, Hank Sadler Jr, Ken Parker, Bob Burnette and Reid McGraw.

Rick’s last MCTD Tres Dias weekend was serving in 2023 at Men’s #56 serving as a Table Leader. Bowden Moore was the Rector which was held at Bethelwoods Retreat in Rock Hill SC. Rick was a Table Leader at that weekend where he was instrumental in naming his table the ‘Geezers for God’. David & Jeff Lineberger & Ken Krenzer sat with Rick for that weekend.

Please keep his only family the Sackerman’s in your prayers. They will be taking Rick’s ashes back to New Jersey.
