After 21 years of ministry and service to the campuses of UNT and TWU and the city of Denton, Hope Fellowship Church is closing public operations. We have loved serving the campuses and city, and we rejoice in all the Lord has done since we were planted in the summer of 2000!
Over the last few years, we’ve seen a strain on the leadership resources needed to sustain an active campus ministry and public
church services and operations. Our church board and staff team have been working to try and address these resource limitations, but at this point in time, we do not have the capacity to continue ministry in the way we have for the last several years. Through much prayer, counsel, and discussion, the leading from the Lord is to close down active public operations.
We do have a core team that is interested in the possibility of
planting a new church in the future, but for now the staff and
leaders are in need of waiting on the Lord and being refreshed in
personal relationship with Him outside of active ministry roles.
If you would like to continue to give to these future endeavors you may do so at the link in our bio.
We are so thankful for the encouragement, prayers, and support of all who have been a part of Hope over the years! We love you and are full of gratitude for all the Father has done. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
