🏈🏆 FRIDAY NIGHT VICTORY!

Last night, Juventud Ebenezer traded our usual Friday night gathering for some Friday Night Lights! We headed to Carrico Stadium to watch the Braswell Bengals take on the Crandall Pirates—and, most importantly, to cheer on one of our own: #36, Mauricio, the Bengals’ kicker!

About 22 of us, including a great group of our youth, came out to support Mauricio and the Bengals. And we made sure he could hear us! 📣

The fans were passionate and LOUD, the football team gave us an incredible game, and we also enjoyed the impressive performances and choreography from the bands and the Braswell Royals.

Most of the game was a nail-biter, but in the end, the Bengals captured the victory! 🏆

After the game, many of us kept the celebration going with a late-night dinner at Whataburger, where we got to celebrate alongside Mauricio and his family.

Congratulations once again, Mauricio! We loved being there to cheer you on. Keep working hard, keep representing, and keep giving God your best!

🏈🏆 ¡VICTORIA DE VIERNES POR LA NOCHE!

¡Anoche, Juventud Ebenezer cambió nuestra reunión habitual de los viernes por una emocionante noche de fútbol americano! Fuimos al Carrico Stadium para ver a los Braswell Bengals enfrentarse a los Crandall Pirates y, sobre todo, para apoyar a uno de los nuestros: ¡ #36, Mauricio, el pateador de los Bengals!

Alrededor de 22 personas, incluyendo un gran grupo de nuestros jóvenes, estuvimos presentes para apoyar a Mauricio y a los Bengals. ¡Y nos aseguramos de que pudiera escuchar nuestras porras! 📣

La afición estuvo apasionada y RUIDOSA, el equipo de fútbol americano nos regaló un partido increíble, y también disfrutamos de las impresionantes presentaciones y coreografías de las bandas y las Braswell Royals.

La mayor parte del partido nos tuvo al borde de nuestros asientos, pero al final, ¡los Bengals consiguieron la victoria! 🏆

Después del partido, muchos continuamos la celebración con una cena tarde en Whataburger, donde tuvimos la oportunidad de celebrar junto a Mauricio y su familia.

¡Felicidades una vez más, Mauricio! Nos dio mucho gusto estar ahí para apoyarte. ¡Sigue esforzándote, sigue representando y continúa dando siempre lo mejor de ti para Dios!

Tomorrow (Friday) we will not have the youth service at church so we can attend Mauricio's football game and cheer for him. Please have your parents accompany you to Bill Carrico Athletic Complex (Carrico Stadium), 26750 E. University Dr., Aubrey, TX 76227 between 7:00 PM - 7:30 PM. If your parents can give other youths a ride to the game or if you need a ride, please let Gabriel or Lili know asap. If you do not let us know by tonight that you need a ride, we may not be able to find you a ride. Bring money for the entrance fee and if you wish to get a late dinner afterwards.

Por favor, pidan a sus padres que los acompañen a Bill Carrico Athletic Complex (Carrico Stadium), 26750 E. University Dr., Aubrey, TX 76227, entre las 7:00 PM y las 7:30 PM.

Si sus padres pueden llevar a otros jóvenes al partido, o si ustedes necesitan que alguien los lleve, por favor avísenle a Gabriel o Lili lo antes posible. Si no nos avisan esta noche que necesitan transporte, es posible que no podamos encontrarles un ride.

Traigan dinero para la entrada y, si desean, para comprar una cena tarde después del partido.

📖⚡ WHEN THE BIBLE IGNITES THE CONVERSATION

Our Juventud EB ministry brings together middle school and high school students, and it’s exciting to see how God is working in both groups.

This year, our middle school students have brought an incredible amount of energy—the kind that just keeps going! 🔥 Today during discipleship, that energy turned into a passion for God’s Word. As we studied the first seven verses of Genesis 3, they weren’t just participating—they were asking tough questions, passionately discussing the passage, sharing their perspectives, and listening carefully to one another.

Our high school students were just as engaged, contributing thoughtful ideas and making sure their voices were heard as we explored Genesis 3 together. 📖

And apparently, the Texas heat couldn’t slow them down either! After church, some of our middle schoolers were still outside playing soccer in 106°F weather! ⚽☀️😅

Thank You, God, for our youth—for their energy, curiosity, and growing desire to understand Your Word. May You continue to mold their hearts, deepen their faith, and use their lives for Your glory. 🙏❤️

📖⚡ CUANDO LA BIBLIA ENCIENDE LA CONVERSACIÓN

Nuestro ministerio de Juventud EB reúne a estudiantes de secundaria y preparatoria, y es emocionante ver cómo Dios está obrando en ambos grupos.

Este año, nuestros estudiantes de secundaria han traído una energía increíble—¡de esas que simplemente no se apagan! 🔥 Hoy, durante el discipulado, esa energía se convirtió en pasión por la Palabra de Dios. Mientras estudiábamos los primeros siete versículos de Génesis 3, no solo participaron: hicieron preguntas difíciles, debatieron con entusiasmo, compartieron sus puntos de vista y escucharon atentamente las opiniones de sus compañeros.

Nuestros estudiantes de preparatoria estuvieron igual de involucrados, compartiendo ideas profundas y expresando sus pensamientos mientras juntos explorábamos Génesis 3. 📖

¡Y al parecer ni el calor de Texas pudo detenerlos! Después de la iglesia, algunos de nuestros estudiantes de secundaria todavía tenían energía para jugar fútbol bajo una temperatura de 106°F. ⚽☀️😅

Gracias, Dios, por nuestros jóvenes, por su energía, su curiosidad y su creciente deseo de comprender Tu Palabra. Que continúes moldeando sus corazones, fortaleciendo su fe y usando sus vidas para Tu gloria. 🙏❤️

🙏 WHEN WE PRAY, GOD LISTENS

Tonight, we were blessed to have 22 youth join us! 🙌

In Luke 11:1–13, we discovered how Jesus taught His disciples to pray through the Lord’s Prayer. We also found a powerful reminder: if earthly parents, even with all their imperfections, know how to care for their children when they ask, how much more will our Heavenly Father care for us when we come to Him in prayer? 💙

Afterward, the fun continued with indoor and outdoor games! 🏀 And the sugar rush was real—chocolate cake and refreshing popsicles made a hot and humid Texas night a little sweeter! 🍧

We’re thankful for every young person who came tonight. Keep praying. Keep trusting. God hears you. 💯

🙏 CUANDO ORAMOS, DIOS ESCUCHA

¡Esta noche tuvimos la bendición de contar con 22 jóvenes! 🙌

En Lucas 11:1–13, descubrimos cómo Jesús enseñó a sus discípulos a orar por medio del Padre Nuestro. También encontramos un poderoso recordatorio: si nuestros padres terrenales, aun con todas sus imperfecciones, saben cuidar de sus hijos cuando les piden algo, ¿cuánto más nuestro Padre celestial cuidará de nosotros cuando acudimos a Él en oración? 💙

Después, ¡la diversión continuó con juegos dentro y fuera de la iglesia! 🏀 Y la dosis de azúcar no podía faltar: el pastel de chocolate y unas refrescantes paletas hicieron un poco más dulce esta noche calurosa y húmeda de Texas. 🍧

Estamos agradecidos por cada joven que nos acompañó esta noche. Sigue orando. Sigue confiando. Dios te escucha. 💯
