Welcome Home, Preston Callaway!

We are overjoyed to announce that Preston Callaway is returning to serve as Minister at Denton Christian Church.

After a time away , God has lead him back to our church family, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Preston’s heart for ministry, and deep love for
this congregation have been missed-and we look forward to all that God will do through him in this new chapter.

We will be celebrating the life of Ken Grubaugh on Saturday August 29, 2025 at 10:30am. At Denton Christian Church.
Ken was voted in as the Minister of Denton Christian Chuch in May 2025 and preached 7 weeks and was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He was an excellent teacher and loved to share with anyone.

Please keep his 3 sons and their families in your prayers.

We had a tough week at Denton Christian Church this week! We lost our last charter member!
Sadie Lurlene Villereal went to be with the Lord on December 19, 2024. She went peacefully and had her family and friends around her. She was a blessing to Denton Christian Church for over 55 years. What a testimony her life was for Jesus! She will be missed by all!

Today we are thankful for Denton Christian Church. 55 years and today was the celebration time. We had an awesome service with 3 new members plus a new child of God through baptism !! To start the 56th year off with four new members.

Come join us for our BIG 55th Anniversary of Denton Christian Church! 55 years of winning souls to Christ! We will be having our Thanksgiving dinner after church !
November 21, 1969 on a Friday was the first Meeting of Denton Christian Church at a community center in Denton. It was started by Brother Bob Cox and Texas Evegeliam. The purchased the land we set on and borrowed money to build our existing location!
A lot of people have been touched over the years and if you have a story that you would like to share with the congregation today please post below. If you are around and able to come and attend this Sunday at 10:30 and stay for lunch please come on.

Who said VBS is just for kids! We are having fun singing the old VBS songs. It's great when everyone is doing the moves to the songs.
We have an adult class and I think they are having more fun than the kids!
We believe that VBS is a time for teaching about Jesus and his love, grace and mercy. But it's also a time for people to experience new areas of ministry. We have people seeing they can teach a class and have fun and then to get the adults to lead singing on these song like "I am in the Lords Army" or "His banner of me is Love". We are seeing new talents to be use for the kingdom. What an amazing time we are having!

It's not about the quantity of people coming it's about the quality of knowledge of Christ being taught! Planting those seeds and seeing where they go! Each seed is watered in God's time! Thank you all who have been praying for our VBS. We are finishing up tonight and then a lock-in for the kids! We are blessed at Denton Christian Church
