Our Story
We are a non-denom Christian Student Org at UNT. We also have students from TWU & NCTC. Our evangelistism & discipleship focused college ministry is a ministry of the Singing Oaks Church here in Denton.
CONNECT - GROW - SERVE - GO is our motto!
Thursday nights are our big college night! The 1st & 3rd Thursdays of the month are worship & ministry nights starting at 7pm. These worship nights feature worship music (unique & various styles), a message, and "open ministry" where students are encouraged to connect with God and encourage each other as the Spirit prompts.
The 2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month are called "CrossChats" These are fun social events designed to help people connect & make meaningful friendships. Each CrossChat will feature live music (ie. bands, open mic &/or karaokee) Games & Free Food! CrossChats start at 7:00
Every Tuesday, during the school year, Free lunch is offered to all college students at 11:30am until we are out of food!
College ministry activities on Sundays & Wednesdays take place at the Singing Oaks Church at 101 Cardinal Dr. in Denton (near 288 & McKinney)
Sundays: 9:40 Breakfast
10:00 College Bible Study (Discovery Bible Study learning to study the Bible on you own & in small groups)
11:00 Worship Service (we also have an 8:30am Worship Service option)
Wednesday Nights begin with a dinner @ 5:30 (only $3 for students)
Worship at 6:30
7:00-8:00 Options: Celebrate Recovery, Small Groups, or World Bible School
During the summer we typically meet at our church bldg. Singing Oaks (101 Cardinal Dr. in Denton) 6:30-8:00, then go out afterward for volleyball, swim parties, dinner, etc. There are also Bible studies on Thursday nights in the summer.
