I was back in southeast PA this weekend for my mom's memorial service. It was a wonderful service that emphasized mom's love for Christ and her desire that everyone know Jesus with the same passion that she had. The whole service--music, Scripture, stories, tributes (and it was two hours long!)--moved steadily toward the Gospel invitation for all present to walk in faith and fellowship with Christ. My part of the service was to preach that message and invite people to that place of decision. The service was live-streamed and uploaded to YouTube. I hope you can make some time to watch it--it was completely organized by the family and (we pray) led by the Holy Spirit.
