Steve Nunley has started some work on the church building basement today and will be back tomorrow (Saturday) around 12:30 or 1:00pm and any of our local men that are free and available tomorrow afternoon, would be very much appreciated!! Steve has had to rent a piece of equipment small enough for the available space we have around the basement footing. He will be digging some ditches and putting some gravel in and covering back up, and could use help with someone getting in the ditch and helping down in that area as well as above also. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Please share and help get the word around so maybe we can gather some volunteers to come help!! Thank you!

Attached are some upcoming events planned for the Dennard Cemetery and a copy of the minutes from the last meeting that was held on Friday, September 5th. We have a couple fundraisers in the making. We will post dates and more information as we get it together! Feel free to share for anyone who might want to see these. Again, donations are always needed and SO much appreciated and can be mailed to the address on the above document or given to any board member or officer. That is the reason for the planned fundraisers, to raise money for expenses on some much needed work on the church basement.

Thank you to everyone who came to the meeting tonight. We discussed a couple different things we are planning in the next couple months, as far as fund raisers, to help with some MUCH needed maintenance of the church building. We will let everyone know more when we get dates and more information gathered. Have a great weekend!

*****Change of Date for our next Meeting****

We had down scheduled a cemetery meeting for Friday, August 29th, but since that falls on Labor Day weekend, we have decided to reschedule it the following Friday night, which will be September 5th. At this meeting we will be voting on officers and the position that is up for election again, (one comes up every 3 years), which this one is currently filled by Scott Stapleton. The meeting will be at 7:00pm at the community church in Dennard. If you have loved ones in the cemetery, We hope you can come out and join us for this meeting. Please share this post and help us get the word around about the rescheduling of the date!
Again the NEW MEETING DATE WILL BE FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5th at 7pm! Thank you and we hope to see you all then!

Thank you again to all who helped make this day special for all the families of loved ones here at Dennard.
Thank you to all the singers, musicians, and all who helped with the church service, all who bought raffle tickets, and/or donated to the cemetery. These funds go toward the up keep of the cemetery and church building to keep it looking nice for years to come, so we can continue this tradition. ❤️

A “special” thank you to Hal Ward, for all his hard work and the long hours he puts in getting everything ready for this. We want him to know how much he is appreciated and all he does, does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Hal and God Bless!

You still have time to buy chances on the quilt and the double cedar rocker! We will be setup selling tickets at the cemetery under the red tent, until about 10:30am tomorrow morning. Then we will draw for the winners! Decoration church service starts at 10:00 inside the church! Come join us for gospel music and then Kelly Johnson will be preaching following the singing. The cemetery is sure looking bright, colorful and very nice!

First off we would like to thank those that showed up to help Saturday (and those who came thru out the week) with the clean up of the cemetery. We appreciate you all so much!

Pictures are for two items we will be raffling off for the cemetery. A beautiful quilt that was donated, and a handmade double rocker.
Tickets for the quilt will be $2 per ticket or 3 tickets for $5.
And for the double rocker, $5 per ticket or 5 for $20.
You will be able to get tickets at the cemetery gate May 30, 31 and June 1.
Drawing will be Sunday, June 1st! You do NOT have to be present to win! We will contact you by phone.
If youd like to mail your $ for tickets on either of these items you can do so along with your name and phone number attached (needed for ticket info) and which item of raffle intended, to: Dennard Cemetery P.O. Box 21 Dennard, AR 72629. If you choose to mail it, please contact us somehow to let us know to be watching for it. Thank you all!

There will be a cemetery cleanup day next Saturday, May 3rd. Will begin around 9am weather permitting. If you have loved ones buried here and are able, we would greatly appreciate the help!
The Cemetery Decoration will be Sunday, June 1st this year. Services in the church will begin at 10:00am with singing 🎶 and following Bro Kelly Johnson will be preaching. Please share and get the word out! Thank you!
