Last Sunday, we took a deeper look into Jonah’s heart and saw how his nationalism and pride in his position became more important to him than God. Church, this is a struggle we all face. Our hearts are in a constant battle against our sinful nature, fighting daily to place the one true God above every idol that tries to take His rightful place!

What a great time we had at our Life Group Leader Celebration yesterday! We’re so thankful for our incredible Life Group leaders who faithfully serve, invest in others, and help create spaces where community can grow. We’re also grateful for every church family who participates and makes Life Groups such a meaningful part of our church.
We can’t wait for Life Groups to start back up again this fall!

Throughout Jonah’s journey we see acts of disobedience, obedience, grace, repentance, and now extreme anger from Jonah. Jonah was angry because God showed mercy and grace to the Ninevites.
