Hi Team,

Please pray for Nepal! There is major flooding in Kathmandu and across the country. So far, 10 families associated with Awaken International have been impacted.

We are already planning on visiting Nepal at the end of the month and will be able to assess the needs and communicate with you all.

Please pray that we will be able to not only raise enough to complete the trip as planned but also to help those who were impacted by the floods when we arrive.

We know that God has a way of bringing beauty from ashes!

Many of the deaths were in the capital Kathmandu which got heavy rainfall and much of southern part of the city was flooded.

Hello Team!

Awaken is sending Craig and Tammy Bertrand to visit our Leadership Team in Nepal and participate in a youth conference for 200 youth, visit some of our Church planters, and encourage our national leadership team.

Craig and Tammy were Missionaries for 10 years in Hong Kong and Craig currently serves Awaken as Vice President and is on our board of directors.

We are so excited what our Nepal Church planting team is doing.

Despite the many obstacles this past year has brought............the church is GROWING.

Our team is starting another church plant in a very strategic area of Nepal.

It'll take ONLY $1,000 US dollars to get the church and it's pastor set up and operating.

And about only $200 a month to maintain this new church plant

This amount covers
Setting up a space for the pastor to live
A small area connected to the pastor's living space for the church area
Solar lights and other living necessities.
