There’s a seat waiting for you, young momma.

This chair may look like a simple snapshot from last night’s Campfire & S’mores, but to the four moms who showed up, it was so much more—it was a place to sit, breathe, laugh, and build community.

The evening was filled with the kind of conversations that make connection feel easy. Chats included which tattoos hold the most meaning and why, the ups and downs of parenting, and even why our messy pets are still so deeply loved.

For a little while, these young moms had a chance to unwind, be themselves, and connect with others who get it.

Are you ready to take a seat and step into sweet moments of fellowship? Hope to see you at any of the opportunities coming up!

Risen Community Church At 5780 US 10 in Demotte will be open the following hours for people to come and stay cool, charge their phones, and do laundry. We have two washers and two dryers on the premises available for use.

One of our very dedicated volunteers. LaDonna always goes above and beyond taking care of our church property. She enjoys mowing, I'm not sure if she enjoys doing it in the rain and this humidity but we are so grateful for her efforts.

Our Littles had fun today learning about the first fruit of the Spirit… Love. These little ones are such a blessing to us at Risen Community! They enjoyed making "Heart creatures."
