As we celebrate Independence Day, we want to inform our community that the entrance to Yonah Memorial Gardens will be closed as of 5:00 pm on July 4th.

This decision was made due to misuse of the cemetery grounds in previous years during the Demorest 4th of July celebration. Out of deep respect for the gravesites and the families of those laid to rest, we kindly ask everyone to honor this space as sacred and private.

If you plan to attend the festivities, you are welcome to use the parking lot at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, located beside Yonah Memorial Gardens.

Thank you for your understanding and support as we preserve the dignity of this resting place for generations to come.
