As we prepare for September 5th 2026, for the Deming Celebration of Jesus Event, we're publicly seeking that EVERY CHRISTIAN, EVERY BIBLICAL CHURCH, to pray over the event for the glory of God the Father. Here are the guides to the prayer and our desire:
Heavenly Father,
We exalt Jesus Christ as our Lord and Messiah, just as Your Word declares: “God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ” (Acts 2:36). Let our hearts be centered fully on Him. In this move of revival, make Jesus our highest priority, our message, and our devotion.
Lord, bring us to true repentance. As it is written, “Repent and be baptized… for the forgiveness of your sins” (Acts 2:37–38). Pierce our hearts with conviction. Turn us away from sin and distractions, and redirect our lives toward holiness and a deeper pursuit of You.
Stir in us a passion for prayer and devotion. Your Word says they “devoted themselves… to prayer” (Acts 2:42). Awaken in us a continual desire to seek You, to worship You, and to commune with You day and night.
Give us a deep hunger for Your Word. As it is written, they “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching” (Acts 2:42). Let Scripture become our daily bread, shaping our thoughts, renewing our minds, and guiding our lives.
Place within us a burden for the lost. Your servant urged the people, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation” (Acts 2:40). Open our eyes to those who do not know You, and fill us with compassion and boldness to share the love of Christ.
Lord, bring an increase in salvation. Your Word says, “Those who accepted his message were baptized… about three thousand were added” and “the Lord added to their number daily” (Acts 2:41, 47). Draw many to Yourself and grow Your Church.
Call people into ministry and mission. As it is written, “We cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20). Raise up laborers who will proclaim the Gospel with boldness in every place and every sphere of life.
Let Your presence be made manifest among us. Your Word says, “Many wonders and signs were being done” and calls us to be saved (Acts 2:40, 43). Reveal Yourself in power, through conviction, transformation, and the work of Your Spirit.
Produce in us generous hearts. As it is written, “They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need” (Acts 2:45). Teach us to give freely and joyfully for the advancement of Your kingdom.
Draw us into consistent and joyful fellowship. Your Word says, “They continued to meet together… broke bread in their homes” (Acts 2:46). Increase our gatherings for worship, prayer, and sharing life together.
Deepen our love for one another. As it is written, they met “with glad and sincere hearts” (Acts 2:46). Let unity and genuine fellowship mark Your people, drawing others to Your presence.
Grant us favor, even in the midst of opposition. Your Word says they were “enjoying the favor of all the people” (Acts 2:47), yet also faced resistance (Acts 4:1). Help us to stand firm with joy, trusting that Your favor is greater than any opposition.
Lord, bring true revival in our hearts, our churches, and our communities. Let all these signs flow together in greater manifestation for Your glory.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
