A century of apostolic authority.
A century of revealed word."

The Light of the World Church is celebrating 100 years of the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ; a century guided by divine authority, a century where God's Word has been faithfully preached, His Church preserved, and His eternal plan fulfilled.

This Centenary is not just a celebration of time passing, but a testimony of God's love through the restoration of His Church and the enduring victory of Christ's mission here on Earth.

La Iglesia La Luz del Mundo celebra 100 años de la restauración de la Iglesia de Jesucristo; un siglo guiado por autoridad divina, un siglo en el que la Palabra de Dios ha sido fielmente predicada, Su Iglesia preservada y Su plan eterno cumplido.

Este Centenario no es solo una celebración del paso del tiempo, sino un testimonio del amor de Dios a través de la restauración de Su Iglesia y la victoria perdurable de la misión de Cristo aquí en la Tierra.

United in Blessing, One Day Before the Great Celebration.

Topic - The Election of the Servants of God

The Church meditated on the Election of the Servants of God as a divine and sovereign act established by His will to guide His people toward salvation. This calling does not happen by human desire, but solely by God’s purpose and grace, often in unexpected ways. As taught in the scriptures, God does not look at an outward appearance but at the heart, choosing whom He wills to reveal His perfect plan at the appointed time.

(Galatians 1:15) (Jeremiah 1:5)

At the conclusion of our service, the church hosted a fellowship meal, bringing together brothers and sisters and our guests.

La Iglesia meditó en la Elección de los Siervos de Dios como un acto divino y soberano establecido por Su voluntad para guiar a Su pueblo hacia la salvación. Este llamado no ocurre por deseo humano, sino únicamente por el propósito y la gracia de Dios, de maneras inesperadas. Como enseñan las Escrituras, Dios no mira la apariencia exterior, sino el corazón, escogiendo a quien Él quiere para revelar Su plan perfecto en el tiempo señalado.

We are honored to have The Light of the World Children’s Choir featured by the Albuquerque Journal.

The choir sang during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration in Deming, uniting as a community in an event centered on justice and equality. The event reflected Dr. King’s call to action through education, public health, the environment, religion, and immigration.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful moment.

Our Coffee with a Cop event at The Light of the World Church in Deming, NM was a memorable community event. We began with our local law enforcement sharing helpful information and answering our community's questions. Our mayor, Michele 'Micki' Shillito, also joined us. To conclude, everyone enjoyed coffee, desserts, a variety of food, and meaningful conversations that brought our community closer together. We're thankful for everyone who showed up and participated and especially grateful to our local law enforcement for taking the time to connect with our community.

The Light of the World Church in Deming, New Mexico, was honored to participate in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration at the Mimbres Valley Learning Center. We united as a community to honor his legacy through guest speakers and different preformances. We also enjoyed delicious food that was served by La Fonda and the powerful voices of our children's choir. We're grateful to have participated in this important community event. May God bless us all as we move forward together.

New Year’s Service:

With hearts full of gratitude for all the blessings received throughout the year, The Light Of The World Church in Deming, NM gathered for a special service of praise to give thanks to our God.

At the conclusion of our service, the church rejoiced greatly as the reading of an Apostolic Letter was shared, bringing consolation and strength to continue moving forward trusting in our Lord. After listening to the beautiful words of the Apostle of Jesus Christ, the church, united in prayer, welcomed the year 2026.

Servicio Especial de Fin de Año:

Con un corazón lleno de gratitud por todas las bendiciones recibidas a lo largo del año, la Iglesia La Luz del Mundo en Deming NM se congregó en un servicio especial de alabanza para agradecer a nuestro Dios.

Al finalizar el servicio de alabanzas, la iglesia se gozó en grande manera al escuchar la lectura de una Carta Apostólica que trajo consuelo y fortaleza a nuestro ser para seguir adelante manteniendo nuestra confianza en Dios. Al término de escuchar las hermosas palabras del Apóstol de Jesucristo, la iglesia fundida en oración le dio la bienvenida al año 2026.
