Dios ama a los pecadores, y quiere que lo proclamemos en voz alta.

Nunca olvidaron su pasado. Moisés jamás olvidó cómo mató a un hombre en un arrebato de ira. Pablo jamás olvidó cómo había atacado a la Iglesia de Dios. Mateo jamás olvidó cómo, como recaudador de impuestos del Imperio Romano, fue considerado un traidor a su pueblo.

Pero Dios olvidó su pasado. Perdonó todos sus pecados y los llamó a proclamar su misericordia. Los cristianos son pecadores a quienes Dios ha llamado con misericordia. Solo la misericordia puede explicar por qué Jesús lleva a las personas a la fe y les promete la salvación. Solo la gracia puede explicar cómo los llama a servir según sus capacidades, incluso en el ministerio del evangelio. Dios ama a los pecadores.

God loves sinners – and he wants us to say it out loud.

They never forgot their past. Moses never forgot how he killed a man in a fit of anger. Paul never forgot how he had savaged the Church of God. Matthew never forgot how, as a tax collector for the Roman Empire, he was considered a traitor to his people.

But God forgot their past. He forgave all their sins and called them to proclaim his mercy. Christians are sinners whom God has mercifully called. Only mercy can explain why Jesus brings people to faith and promises them salvation. Only grace can explain how he calls them to serve as they are able, even in the ministry of the gospel. God loves sinners.

Creemos en el Dios Trino. Él es el único Dios verdadero.

La fiesta de la Santísima Trinidad es un tiempo para celebrar que Dios se revela a nosotros como un solo Dios en tres personas. El Dios Trino desea que su pueblo enseñe este misterio en su verdad y pureza bíblicas.

Esta fiesta de la Santísima Trinidad inicia la segunda mitad del año litúrgico con la proclamación del bautismo y la bendición en el nombre del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu Santo, el único Dios verdadero.

Acompáñenos en el culto este domingo 31 de mayo a las 9:30 a. m. para celebrar al Dios Trino y escuchar lo que Dios quiere que compartamos acerca de esta verdad.

Nuestra nueva serie, «Dilo en voz alta», comienza este domingo con el tema de la semana: «Dios es Trino».

We believe in the triune God. He is the only true God.

The festival of the Holy Trinity is a time to celebrate God revealing himself to us as one God in three persons. The triune God wants his people to teach this mystery in its biblical truth and purity.

This festival of the Holy Trinity begins the second half of the Church Year with a proclamation of people being baptized and blessed in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, the one true God.

Join us for worship this Sunday, May 31st, at 9:30 AM, as we celebrate the triune God and hear what God wants us to share about this truth!

Our new series, “Say It Out Loud” begins this Sunday, with our theme of the week, “God Is Triune.”

The Season after Pentecost features what Christ teaches, and Christians in every vocation are encouraged to say it out loud. The truths of God’s Word are good for the soul, useful for life, and more reliable than anything else in the world. Watch out for wise teachers who come with wise-sounding words, and pious promises, but who do not base everything on the Word of God! Give thanks to the Lord for faithful servants in the ministry of the gospel and those who support them!

A Memorial Day Prayer from our synod...

𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫

Lord of grace and glory, Americans remember their fallen on the holiday we call Memorial Day. Help us to remember the cause of war, the horrors of war, and, at some times, the need for war. Help us explain to a new generation the reality of evil, the need for sacrifice, but above all, the need for you. Without you, any victory is fleeting, and any healing is short-lived. Without you, America is at the mercy of its enemies—and its enemies do not possess mercy. Therefore, shower us with your mercy from on high that we may never forget those who died for our freedom, and the One who died to make us free forever. Amen.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we thank God for blessing our country with men and women willing to serve and protect.

This past Saturday, we received an assignment of a new teacher for our Academy during the Martin Luther College Call Service. We are excited to announce that Mr. Micah Schibbelhut will be joining our faculty as our new 8th Grade Homeroom and Departmentalized Middle School Science Teacher.
We hope that you will join us in giving Micah a warm Florida welcome when he arrives in Deltona later this summer. Be on the lookout for more details coming soon!
