I have been praying through canceling all social media, streaming, and other digital tools at the Church. Why? Because, in the climate of today's armchair theologian world, it is often counter-productive to be online.

Why? We are CONSUMERS, and rarely contributors. We want to watch the videos, listen to the podcasts, take in and invest in the opinions of those who use today's technology to become experts and YouTube Drs. in all things God-related.

As this situation is prayed through, one thought came to mind..... Could you ask yourself an honest question?

When is the last time you honestly told someone all about how you were BORN AGAIN in the HOLY SPIRIT as described by JESUS CHRIST?

How much do you have to hate your neighbor, to believe and think that the end of times is coming, and all the other YouTube Dr. Prophets are not pounding on every door and proclaiming the GOSPEL MESSAGE?

Imagine if a News Station producer KNEW that a natural disaster was imminent, had every resource available to give the GOOD NEWS that would save countless people willing to evacuate a danger zone, and instead decided to go home and listen to commentaries about What-Ifs?

The Church in general is failing. When the Church's "Goal" is just to get attendance consistent and give manageable tasks for the next cool build project, and we have not even begun to ask beyond that to the GREAT COMMISSION, we are failing.
