If truth can shift based on your feelings, your perspective, or the latest cultural trend, then it was never truth to begin with.

Truth is a bedrock. It cannot change. If it changes, it’s just an opinion. And if you build your life on the shifting sand of your opinions, your emotions, or what makes you comfortable in the moment, it will inevitably collapse when the weight of real-world adversity presses down.

We are currently living in what researchers call a "trust recession". When you can find an argument online for just about anything, it's easy to start asking the exact same question Pilate asked Jesus: "What is truth?".

Remember when you were a kid and your buddies made fun of you for being "whipped"? 😂

It's easy to get defensive and refuse to change for anyone. But the truth is, a healthy marriage requires change. I had to change things about myself to build a life with Debbie, and she had to do the same. The idea that you should never have to change for the person you love is a lie.

True love means growing together.
