Today is the Day of Atonement.
It's a day dedicated to fasting, prayer, repentance, and seeking forgiveness for sins. When Jesus died and rose again, He became the permanent sacrifice for our sins.
So, for us as believers, this is a day of joy because we know our sins have been covered in the blood of Christ!
However, that doesn't take away our responsibility to reflect upon our lives and repent from anything that has been holding us back. We still need repentance in our lives. We still need to fast and pray. We still need to seek forgiveness.
๐๐๐ฌ, ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ฌ, ๐๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐ข๐ญ ๐๐๐๐ง ๐๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ?
Today, let's consider and spend time seeking the Lord individually and with our families, making sure our hearts our right with God and that we don't have any sins that need repenting of.
Today let's stand in together as the body of Christ for our nation and repent for the sins of our nation and seek God to heal our land.
