We were honored to welcome the Southern Deanery and Horizons of Hope to St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church! We are grateful for their wonderful mission of making Catholic education accessible to more families throughout our diocese. 🙏💙✝️

We were honored to attend the Southern Deanery meeting of the Diocese of Palm Beach at St. Vincent Ferrer Church.

It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce Horizons of Hope to our pastors and share our mission of making Catholic education more accessible through scholarships for qualifying K–12 students throughout the Diocese of Palm Beach.

We are grateful for the opportunity to build awareness and work together to help more families experience the gift of a Catholic education. ✝️

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬

As we face the beginning of the hurricane season, we pray that we will be blessed with no major storms in our area. We also pray in thanksgiving for the safety we have experienced in past seasons.

I again ask that we all join together in a united prayer effort in our parishes and schools to thank God for the past several relatively calm hurricane seasons and petition for protection from devastating storms in the upcoming seasons. We are so grateful to God for the narrow escapes we had in past years and continue to pray for all those adversely affected by storms of any kind, past and present. Our united prayer effort at the parish level can take three forms: Prayers of the Faithful, a short prayer for private and communal parish use, and weekly reminders in the parish bulletin with a prayer that families can pray at home. I also recommend using the Mass to Avert Storms in the Sacramentary at appropriate times during the season. For our Diocese of Palm Beach, Office of Catholic Schools and in student life I am encouraging prayer each day led by staff and a printed prayer that students can take home to their families for prayer at home.

Assuring you and all those you love of my continued remembrance in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, and commending you to the loving intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of the Apostles, I remain sincerely yours in our Lord Jesus Christ.

As we prepare to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday, we pause to thank God for the gift of freedom and the blessings He has poured upon our country.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, watch over our nation. Grant wisdom to our leaders, courage to those who protect our freedoms, and peace in every heart. Help us to be faithful disciples who seek justice, serve our neighbors with love, and always place our trust in You. May Your grace continue to guide America for generations to come. Amen.
