Located within the heart of the community, Delray Community Missionary Baptist Church is the living vision of a few faithful citizens who felt a new work had to be done in their community. Tony and Mary Howard both received the vision form the lord and in 1982 they called on Albert L. Moore to lead them in their vision. Under his leadership, Delray Community has grown in the vision and continues t

o hold the truth of the lord. Now, 28 years later, Delray Community has grown to higher heights. The year of 2010 promises many blessings for the “baptist church with the pentecostal experience” ; with the plans of a new edifice being built by the end of the year. With the city of Delray’s growth increasing by the masses, Delray Community Missionary Baptist has a great task ahead of them as they strive to spread the gospel of Jesus and hold to the vision that was given to them two decades ago.
