What does it mean to truly live a life of love?

Romans 12 reminds us that genuine love is more than something we say—it is something we show through our actions. We are called to care for one another, rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep, remain patient through difficult times, and persevere in prayer.

Even when we are faced with hurt, anger, or negativity, God calls us to choose a different path: one of grace, compassion, peace, and goodness.

“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
— Romans 12:21

As we enter a new week, may we strive to love genuinely, serve faithfully, pray continually, and be a source of kindness and peace to those around us. ❤️🙏🏽

“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”
— Romans 11:29

God’s faithfulness does not disappear when we stumble. Romans reminds us that God has not forgotten His people and that His gifts and His calling remain steadfast.

We all have moments when we fall short, make mistakes, or wander from the path God has placed before us. Yet His mercy continues to reach us. His grace reminds us that our failures do not have the final word—God’s love and faithfulness do.

As we gather this Sunday, may we remember that God is faithful, His mercy is abundant, and His calling remains.

"Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes with sighs too deep for words.”
— *Romans 8:26–27*

There are times when life leaves us without the words to pray. Our hearts may be heavy, our minds overwhelmed, and our spirits weary. Yet, even in those moments, we are never alone.

God's Holy Spirit meets us in our weakness, interceding on our behalf when words fail us. He knows every burden, every tear, and every unspoken prayer, carrying them before the Father according to His perfect will.

As you go through this week, take comfort in knowing that even when you don't know what to say, God hears your heart. His presence is with you, His Spirit is praying for you, and His love will never fail.

During yesterday’s City Commission Meeting, the City of Delray Beach proudly presented St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church with a Certificate of Recognition for generations of faithful service, compassionate outreach, and invaluable contributions to the Delray Beach community.

💙 Father's Day Blessings 💙
Today we give thanks for all fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, mentors, and father figures who have guided us with love, wisdom, and faith. We celebrate the many ways they reflect God's care, strength, and steadfast presence in our lives.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 10:30-31:
"Even the hairs of your head are all counted. So do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows."
As we honor fathers today, may we also remember the love of our Heavenly Father, who knows us completely, watches over us faithfully, and cherishes each of His children.
May God bless all fathers today and always.
