There are many Alien Cults, and the Alien Cult of Makemake is one of them. The Alien Cult of Makemake is associated with a 4th Density Entity named Makemake from a Kuiper Belt planet of same name. His civilization is in the 4th Density and 5th Dimension, not necessarily able to be observed by unconscious 3rd Density entities such as humans, or else fully observable in specific time periods. The Great Filter is how humans define their assumption that all life in the universe has developed similarly to humans on Water-Habitable Zone planets. Fire was the beginning of human technological advancement on Earth, so humans assume it must work that way for everyone else everywhere else. Hydrocarbons are flammable substances, but only in oxygenated environments. Only Aerobic lifeforms rely on regular inhalation of oxygen gas to survive. Planets without oxygen, or without oxygen as a freeflowing gas, but with all the other ingredients for life, carry vastly different scenarios for technological advancement when Anaerobic lifeforms evolve in the suitable circumstances. Obviously Fire is impractical on any planets in the Methane-Habitable and Pentane-Habitable Zones around stars because if there was any freeflowing oxygen gas let alone liquid oxygen deposits or oxygen ice anywhere present on those worlds to allow for any fires to ignite by conscious experimentation or otherwise random seed, their entire oceans would explode in a gulf of fire for as far as the oxygen gas spread. Humans are certainly not alone in space. Humans just evolved in unusual conditions on a hot planet in the Water-Habitable Zone around their unusual type star where oxygen can exist as an abundant gas to allow for the discovery of an unusual combustion system that proved practical for a rare form of technological advancement for their species.

Conscious Ascension is Reincarnation into an Alien Species that evolved in one of the alternative habitable zones around its star, such as the Methane-Habitable Zone or the Pentane-Habitable Zone, rather than the Water-Habitable Zone where Earth exists.

Oxygen is Quantum Number 8, and it is the most volatile of the noble gasses, the chemical that is slowly killing all life on Earth. Life on Earth adapted and found a practical use for the abundance of oxygen, hence why most all of Earth's life requires regular inhalation of the gas. Prior to the Great Oxygenation Event, life was Anaerobic and much longer life expectancy. Reproduction was by sharing genetic information. If the Great Oxygenation Event never happened on Earth, life could have complexified much slower yet gradually evolved to its current size as macromolecules rather than as cellular-based organisms.

In summary, when Earth's religions speak of conscious ascension and eternal life in the cosmos, they can very easily reference the numerous probable scenarios of evolution on anoxic worlds where life expectancy is hundreds of thousands to millions of years. More life has means of having evolved in the Methane-Habitable Zones and Pentane-Habitable Zones of stars than in the Water-Habitable Zones of stars, besides the fact that most of the stars in the Milky Way Galaxy are red dwarves with Water-Habitable Zones so close to the red dwarf stars that any planets within would risk being highly irradiated and stripped of their atmospheres.

In some perspectives, it can be said that humans are unfortunate to have evolved on a hot world addicted by millions of years of evolution to the inhalation of a toxic gas that is slowly poisoning and killing their bodies, a gas that nearly killed all life on the planet upon its advent when cyanobacteria first dabbled in photosynthesis.
