This Monday night at Remnant Recovery is going to be incredibly special. ❤️‍🔥

Our pastor’s wife Taylor’s dad, Neal Condrey, will be sharing his story not from the perspective of the person battling addiction, but from the perspective of the one who loved someone through it.

Addiction doesn’t only affect the person caught in it. It touches marriages. Children. Parents. Entire families. It can leave the people who love them feeling helpless, angry, exhausted, afraid, and wondering where God is in the middle of all of it.

Neal is going to share what it looked like to walk beside someone he loved through addiction and how, in the middle of something that could have destroyed his family, God used it to strengthen his relationship with Christ and help save his family.

There is hope for the addict, but there is also hope for the family. There is healing for the people who have been fighting beside them. And there is a God who knows how to redeem what addiction tried to destroy. 🙌🏼

This coming Monday August 17th at The Table our sweet friend Jordan Sanders will be coming to share a part of her story and how Jesus became the Lord of her life! Another God awesome Sunday at The Table this morning!

🔥 JOEL 2

THIS IS NOT THE END OF YOUR STORY.

“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…” Joel 2:25

God didn’t say, “I’ll help you forget what you lost.” He said, “I WILL RESTORE.” Joel 2 is a reminder for us that God knows how to step into a season that looks completely devoured and command RESTORATION. The enemy may have touched the harvest, but he never became Lord of the field. And when God restores, He doesn’t just give back things. He restores purpose, strength, joy, hunger, vision, and praise.

Then comes the promise!!! “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh…” Joel 2:28

Catch that!! RESTORATION BEFORE OUTPOURING. 🔥

Some of what God is restoring in you is because He intends to POUR THROUGH YOU. So don’t curse the field because it looks empty. God still owns the field. God still controls the rain. God still commands the harvest. And YOUR AFTERWARD IS COMING.

🔥 “I WILL RESTORE.”
🔥 “I WILL POUR OUT.”

If God said I WILL, hell doesn’t get a vote.

Don’t forget tonight at 6:00 our good friend Chelsea Higginbotham will be at The Table bringing a word from the Lord. God has used Chelsea in mighty ways the last couple of years to bring Jesus to our community and she has become a very close friend to us! Posture your hearts because I know the Lord wants us to hear from Him tonight! Be ready to worship!
