Something worth sharing: a prayer vigil for 90 days, from Oct. 23 to Jan. 20. United in prayer, we are guided through this difficult, transitional time. From Shannnon Willis:

May the forces that feed war, greed, oppression, and destruction be thwarted.
May the forces that protect life, uphold justice, and make peace possible prevail.
May we have the courage to help make it so.

May those who wield power against the vulnerable be restrained, and those who resist injustice be strengthened.
May the sacred powers, by whatever names they are known, shelter the displaced, protect the innocent, and awaken the conscience of those who do harm.
May the cycles of hatred that carry violence from one generation to the next be interrupted.
May truth pierce deception. May courage move through fear. May compassion carry us past the borders that divide us.
May humanity remember its kinship with all living beings, and may the Earth be released from the violence inflicted upon her.

Amen.

Summer Concert will be Indoors

Unity Church of Delaware’s Summer concert will be held this evening, July 18, indoors at the church. The concert starts at 6:00 pm, and refreshments prepared by the church gathering team will be provided.

Come out and enjoy the music and fellowship in the comfort of our sanctuary!

It's time again to celebrate the joys of summer and relish the musical talents of our members and friends.
Due to extreme heat and possible rain we will be having our concert indoors at the church. Wonderful refreshments will be provide by our gathering team.

Come join us this Saturday, at 6:00 pm!

It's time again to celebrate the joys of summer and relish the musical talents of our members and friends.
On July 18th, we will gather on the lawn and sing - weather permitting - or gather inside and sing, and we will enjoy the delicious refreshments provided by our talented gathering team.
Do plan to join us for the fun. Bring a lawn chair (if weather permits) and a voice ready to chime in on the choruses.

SUMMER SOLSTICE
DRUMMING CIRCLE & SING-ALONG
Tonight, June 20th, at 6pm
Unity Church of Delaware 4277 Columbus Pike (Rt 23)

Please join us in song and drum to welcome in the Summer Solstice, the longest day of light, and to celebrate all the days of light ahead.
We'll be drumming from 6 to 6:30 under the guidance of drumming leader, David Rutland. And the music will start at 6:30, with Ralph Leeseberg, Joe Lambert and Joanne Blum, leading the singing.
Bring your own drum if you have one, or use one of the many percussion instruments we'll have on hand. And don't forget your strong singing voice. Come celebrate the light with us!
