As Journey Church Delaware walks through this pastoral transition, we are pleased to announce Pastor Ashley Hadinger will be serving as our Interim Pastor, beginning August 27. Join us in welcoming Ashley and her husband Mike to Journey Church!

On August 13 and August 20, we will enjoy the ministry of two of our local leaders, Amy Parsell and Sara Snavley.

Continue praying with us as we walk together through this season.

Today we celebrate Juneteenth!

This national holiday commemorates the abolishment of enslaved African Americans in the United States.

The Emancipation Proclamation was issued on January 1st, 1863 by President Abraham Lincoln to free those who were in slavery. However, it wasn’t until June 19th that the proclamation reached those who were enslaved in Texas. Thus coining the day as Juneteenth.

We are thankful for freedom!
