God can’t multiply what you're tightly holding onto. It may not be what you want or the result that you were looking for but, it will always be bigger and better than you can imagine.

It's one of the most intimate ways to say “Father.” A way to think about it is when a child reaches up their arms and cries out for their beloved “Papa” or “Daddy.” When he holds them, there is an instant sense of comfort, a feeling of deep connection, safety and love.
When you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior you receive this same kind of access to the Heavenly Father. He is the Creator of the Universe and He created you, His child and masterpiece.
He’s not some cold idol or a distant judge.
He is Abba and He knows your name. He hears your cries for help. He feels your pain. He sees your tears and He’s never ever too busy to hold you and listen to your heart.

If you feel like you’ve been abandoned today, remember that you too can be adopted by the Father. You don't have to have it all together or be formal with Him. You just have to look up and reach up because He’s is already reaching down.
