Jesus calls us to love God and love others, and sometimes that means setting aside our own preferences or freedoms for the sake of someone else. When Scripture is clear, we obey. Where Scripture is silent, we give grace. And when personal convictions differ, we walk carefully—always looking for ways to help each other grow.

Through faith, we’ve been brought into God’s family and connected to Christ and that connection should change the way we live. Romans 12 challenges us to offer ourselves fully to God, use what He’s given us to serve others, pursue peace, give grace, and live differently because we belong to Him.

Taking a pause from Romans this week, Pastor Dave began a look at some of the beliefs that have historically defined Baptists, starting with Biblical Authority. It’s one thing to say we believe the Bible is God’s Word and it’s another to actually know what it says and allow it to shape our lives. The challenge this week is simple: **Read it. Study it. Obey it.** And like the Bereans, don’t just take someone else’s word for it. Open your Bible and see what Scripture says.

In today’s message, Pastor Dave continued our Romans series in chapter 10 with a simple challenge: Be available. Sharing the Gospel doesn’t mean having all the answers or knowing exactly what to say. It can start with simply noticing the people God has put in front of us, building relationships, being willing to talk about Jesus, and taking the first step. When God asks, “Whom shall I send?” are we willing to say, “Here I am, send me”?

In today’s message, Pastor Dave continued our Romans series in chapter 8 with some of the best news we could ever hear: There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. We may still be in the process of growing, changing, and leaving some of the “mud” behind, but we don’t walk that road alone. In Christ, we are set free, we are children of God, we have hope and purpose—and nothing can separate us from His love.

In today’s message, Pastor Dave continued our Romans series in chapter 6, reminding us that if Christ has truly set us free, we are no longer slaves to sin. Through Jesus, we've been given a new life, empowered by the Holy Spirit to grow in righteousness, bear good fruit, and walk in the freedom only He can give. The question is no longer *"Am I free?"*—it's *"What will I do with that freedom?"*

The question is: **What will we do with that gift?**
Will we keep it to ourselves, or will we go and share the Good News? As Pastor Dave challenged us, let's put our faith into action this week by loving God and loving others.
