❤️ Happy Pastor Appreciation Day to Pastor Davis! ❤️ Bobby Davis
A shepherd’s heart is a special kind of heart. It is one that loves, leads, protects, prays, and sometimes carries burdens that his sheep may never even know about. Today, we want to take a moment to thank God for blessing our church family with a shepherd like Pastor Davis and a faithful helpmeet like Ms. Toni. ❤️
Pastor Davis, thank you for standing boldly behind the pulpit and preaching the uncompromised Word of God. Thank you for loving your sheep, even when we wander, for guiding us when we lose our way, and for reminding us to keep our eyes on the Good Shepherd, Jesus. You don’t just preach to your flock on Sundays; you invest your heart into the lives of the people God has entrusted to your care. We know that shepherding a flock isn’t always easy, but we are so thankful that you continue to answer God’s calling with faithfulness and love.
And to our sweet Ms. Toni, we want you to know how much you are loved and appreciated, too! ❤️ Behind a faithful pastor is often a faithful wife who sacrifices, encourages, prays, and serves in ways that many never see. Thank you for sharing your husband with your church family, for your kindness, and for the love you so freely give. Your faithfulness does not go unnoticed.
The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 3:15 (KJV):
“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
What a blessing it is to have a pastor who cares more about feeding his sheep the truth of God’s Word than telling them what they want to hear. A good shepherd doesn’t just lead his sheep through the green pastures; he walks alongside them through the valleys, too.
Pastor Davis and Ms. Toni, we pray that the Lord continues to strengthen you, encourage you, and bless you both abundantly. May you never forget that the seeds you plant, the prayers you pray, and the love you pour into others are making an eternal difference.
We may be your sheep, Pastor Davis, but we hope you always know just how much your flock loves its shepherd! 🐑❤️
Happy Pastor Appreciation Day! We love you both, and we thank God for giving us YOU! ❤️
