PRAYERFUL HEALING LITURGY ~

God of Grace, You nurture us with a deeper love than we now know, and your divine will for us is healing and salvation;

God of Love, you enter our lives, our pain and our brokenness, and you stretch out your healing hands to us wherever we are;

God of Strength, you fill us with your presence and send us forth in love and healing among those we meet;

Touch and heal our bodies suffering from sickness, injury, addiction, and chronic discomfort. Make us whole again;

Touch and heal our minds from darkness, confusion, fear, and doubt. Fill us with your light;

Touch and heal our hearts burdened by anguish, despair and isolation, and set us free in love; Hear us O Lord of Life.

Break the bonds of our imprisonment to fear, compulsion, ego, and addiction; Give us liberty from old hurts and painful memories;

Fill us with peace in our grief from separation and loss; Take our hands, and bring us through death into your loving presence;

Come with your healing power, Give us a new heart, for living a new life, O God


UNISON
Work through all who share in your ministry of light and healing. Renew us in compassion and strength; Guide us who search for the wisdom of causes, cures, and prevention of pain and suffering, depression and loneliness; Restore to wholeness all that is fractured by selfishness, and seeking to rule over and control; O God, in you, all darkness is turned to light and made whole; look with compassion on us and those for whom we pray, that all your children may be recreated, and regenerated by you. ~ Amen

"An Autobiography In Five Short Chapters"

I- I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I fall in I am lost...I am helpless.
It isn't my fault. It takes forever to find a way out.

II- I walk down the same street. There's a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend I don't see it. I fall in again.
I can't believe I am in the same place but it isn't my fault.
It still takes a long time to get out.

III- I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see it is there. I still fall in…It's a habit.
My eyes are open. I know where I am. It is my fault.
I cry out to Some One for help. I get out immediately.

IV-I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it. I am not alone.
There is an even deeper Presence with me.

V- I walk down another street. My steps are humble, yet my stride strengthens with each one. I walk with ease.
A Higher Power keeps me joyfully upright.

The writings of Emanuel Swedenborg describe a continuous, universal divine current that guides all people toward eternal happiness and spiritual growth.

• Those in the stream put their trust in the Divine and attribute good things to God rather than taking personal credit.
Resistance: Those who rely solely on themselves and their own ego step outside this current, leading to anxiety and a lack of spiritual grounding.
State of Peace: Aligning with this flow brings a deep, lasting sense of inner peace, even during turbulent times.

Few places capture the magic of old Florida like Ichetucknee Springs. Hidden in the forests of Columbia County, its waters bubble up crystal clear and stay a steady seventy-two degrees all year long, winding six miles through a shaded, cypress-lined run. 🌿

For generations, Floridians have floated lazily down this river on inner tubes, a summer tradition so beloved that the state stepped in to protect the springs in 1970. The water is so pure you can watch turtles glide beneath you and see every blade of grass swaying on the sandy bottom.

Drifting along in that cool, silent current, with the sunlight flickering through the trees, feels like floating through a living postcard of the real Florida. 🤍
