For many of us, religion has come to lack integrity and credibility. Instead of the promised certainty and satisfaction, we end up confused by jargon and turned off by hypocrisy. We can no longer pretend beliefs and force behaviors just to fit in at a church. Nonetheless, we’re still drawn in by the mystery of something more, be that God as we understand, a c
ommunity in which we belong, or contributing to a common good greater than ourselves. Where do we take this longing?
---> A spirituality that works. What if your spiritual practice meant developing as a person - growing in your connection with yourself, your neighbors, and the world. Not a separate, perfect “spiritual life”, but a formed, integrated, connected and contributing life. Whatever your language, tradition or understanding , we want to experience and develop that together in ways that make all of us more loving - intentionally moving our consciousness from self to neighborhood, and from neighborhood to world. Love past self and past tribe.
