🌧️ PICNIC UPDATE 🌧️ - Please share with others who are a part of the church!

Due to the high chance of rain with the tropical disturbance off the coast of Florida, we’re moving our Church Picnic indoors to Praise Chapel Church.

📍 New Location: Praise Chapel Church
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM this Sunday - October 5th

We're bummed we can't be at the park, but decided we'll make the most out of it! We'll be setting up tables in the Sanctuary and children's church room so everyone can enjoy food and fellowship without worrying about the weather. You’re still welcome to bring a side dish to share, and the church will provide Sonny's BBQ. We'll spend a few minutes reflecting on God's amazing grace and goodness before we eat.

Come join us for good food and great fellowship this Sunday at the Chapel. We can’t wait to see you there!

Join us at the church for our annual Christmas party tomorrow night, December 14th, at 5:00 pm. We'll have a meal, fellowship, and sing a few Christmas songs around the bonfire.

The church will provide spiral hams, drinks, and desserts. Please bring your favorite side dish to share. Invite your family and friends, and let's celebrate!!!

Praise Chapel Update - Join us this Sunday at 10:00 as we continue Advent and remember the Bethlehem candle and God's peace.

We're happy to share that our exterior renovations are complete and looking fantastic. We thank you for your generosity in helping us get this done! Also, don't forget to join us for our Christmas Party on Dec 14th at 5 PM (bring a side dish) and our Christmas Eve Service on Dec 24th at 5:30 PM.

Let's celebrate the season together and remember WHO it is all about.

December Update from Praise Chapel! In this month’s update, we’re sharing more about our renovations, annual Christmas party, and Christmas Eve.

Praise Chapel Church Update - We are thankful the storm has passed and the damage wasn't too severe for most of us. We are praying for supernatural strength for you during this season and that your heart is encouraged.

Our building had power restored yesterday afternoon. Tomorrow, we will have a special service and a time fellowship at 10:00 am. We understand many can't join us for service due to the storm. We understand and encourage everyone to take care of their families first and be a good neighbor to those in need. To ensure we don't add pressure to anyone's situation, we will not have childcare or a live worship band tomorrow. Instead, we plan to have an extended fellowship time, prayer, and a short word to remind ourselves of God's goodness. You can enjoy hot coffee, snacks, and cold air conditioning. We love you and pray that your heart is encouraged.

Hey Praise Chapel Family,

With Hurricane Milton coming, we know everyone has a lot on their plates. We are praying for your safety and protection. With widespread power outages expected, we also know that it will likely be impossible for many to attend church on Sunday… and that is only if we even have power. This post outlines our plans to try to help our church family and what we are expecting to do if we have power on Sunday.

Prayer & Safety First - We’re praying for you. We’re also praying that God gives us mercy and that this storm spares us. Please be safe. If you need to evacuate, there are multiple locations available in Volusia County. Please see the list of shelters here: volusia.org/hurricanes. Additionally, if you have friends inside the church, it is a great time to connect with them. Invite someone over and have a hurricane/Jesus party. After the storm, let’s try to help those who need help with clean-up. If you have a special need or could use some help, you can reach out to the church and we’ll post it on our ministry/prayer page.

Sunday Service—We will decide on Sunday service based on the storm’s damage and whether the church is operational and has electricity. We will also be looking for a way to bless our church family, pray together, and encourage one another. It probably won’t be a normal worship service. We will provide an update on Saturday and will also send a text message if possible. Because many people might be without power, we do plan to open the church if it has electricity. Additionally, Sarah and I are discussing a way that we could bless our community as well, so we might decide to make some pancakes and offer free coffee. We will let you know these details on Saturday.

Last Sunday's baptism pictures. Thank you to all who helped serve and joined us for this special celebration. We are so excited to have so many people committed to following Jesus! We're continually in awe of God's goodness and love for our little church.
