✨ SERMON RECAP | A Life Pleasing to God ✨
📖 1 Peter 1:13–21
Yesterday morning we were challenged by Bro. Kenny with a simple but important question:
Does the life we are living please God?
Peter reminds us to prepare our minds, stay watchful, walk in obedience, and place our hope completely in Jesus. We are not called to look like the world—we are called to be holy because He is holy.
Our faith cannot be something we only live out on Sundays and Wednesdays. A life pleasing to God is lived every day, in every place, and even when no one else is watching.
🔥 Prepare your mind for the battle.
🙏 Be serious and watchful in prayer.
👂 Keep your ears open to the voice of God.
🙌 Walk in obedience, even in the small things.
💡 Use the gifts God has given you to reach others.
❤️ Remember that you were redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus.
🏠 Live heaven-focused—this world is only our temporary home.
Trials will come, but God can use them to build endurance and strengthen our faith. When life gets difficult, we can still say, “God, I’m going to praise You anyway.”
We have been called for a purpose. There is no age limit on being used by God, and sharing the Gospel is not just the job of pastors and ministers—it belongs to every believer.
Our purpose is to make Heaven crowded. 🙌
Let our prayer this week be:
“Lord, let my life represent You. Help me live holy, walk obediently, stay ready, and use everything You have placed in me for Your glory.”
📖 “But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.” — 1 Peter 1:15
