Fall is the perfect time to pick up a new outdoor hobby. Apparently, mine is decomposing in the forest.

But seriously, if you could choose your final resting place, where would it be?

A peaceful forest? A cemetery beside your family? Scattered at sea? Somewhere completely unexpected?

I'm curious how many of you have actually thought about this.

Tell me in the comments where you'd want to spend eternity. And yes, unconventional answers are absolutely encouraged.

School field trip day at GMNP! 🌱

We had such a wonderful time welcoming these young explorers to the Nature Preserve for a hands on day of learning, discovery, and a whole lot of fun!!

The kids explored ecosystems, habitats, and learned why conservation is so important to Florida! They even learned how to navigate a scavenger hunt course using a compass.

Since we had a burial scheduled for the following day, the children were able to see an open gravesite and learn how a naturally decomposing body returns nutrients to the soil and helps feed the land.

We always welcome school groups, homeschool families, co-ops, youth organizations, and community groups for educational field trips, to learn about Florida habitats, conservation, wildlife, ecosystems, natural cycles, and more!!!!
