The Gathering Place

We are a local church with a global vision. Located at the old Valentine Theater. Sundays @ 10 am We are a ministry founded on biblical principles.

We passionately pursue the Fathers heart and His wisdom. Everything we do is to honor God and to further His kingdom. We are loving the broken back to wholeness and believing our neighbors and the nations will be blessed through our obedience. We are here to encourage and to empower people to walk out their purpose and prophetic destiny.

Maybe it’s time to come back. 🤍

Not because you have it all together.
Not because you’ve figured everything out.
Not because anyone is keeping track of how long you’ve been gone.

But because we were never meant to do life,or faith, alone.

There’s something about worshipping together. Praying together. Laughing together. Carrying one another through the hard seasons and celebrating the good ones.

If it’s been a while since you’ve been in church, consider this your invitation.

No pressure. No judgment. No explanation needed.

There’s still a place for you at the table.
There’s still a seat for you in the room.
And we’d really love to see you.

Come back to fellowship.
Come back to community.
Come as you are.

🇺🇸✨ Happy 250th Birthday America! ✨🇺🇸

Today we celebrate more than a nation’s independence — we pause with grateful hearts to remember the faithfulness of God through every generation. For 250 years, America’s story has been written through the courage, sacrifice, prayers, and perseverance of those who came before us.

Freedom is a gift — and the greatest freedom we have is found in Christ. ❤️🤍💙

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”

As we celebrate with family, fireworks, and traditions, may we also be reminded to pray for our nation, love our neighbors, serve our communities, and be a light wherever God has placed us.

May our hearts always return to the One who gives true liberty.

🚨 Important Update 🚨

Due to the severe storm that moved through downtown Defiance yesterday, our building is still without electricity and heat.

Because of this, we will not be able to hold our Resurrection Sunday service today.

We’re disappointed, but your safety and comfort matter most.
We’ll keep you updated as things are restored.
