Today is December 25th.

Today, nearly every worldview on earth—atheist, pagan, secular, nominal Christian—stands shoulder-to-shoulder in a single act of rebellion against the God of Scripture.

Not through hatred.
Not through persecution.
But through substitution.

“For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator.” (Romans 1)

📜 Let’s start with Scripture

The Bible never commands or records the birth of the Messiah being celebrated.

In fact:
• Shepherds were in the fields at night (Luke 2) — not winter
• No apostle observed a birth celebration
• No command, no example, no instruction

Yeshua Himself warned:

“They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines human commands.” (Isaiah 29 / Matthew 15)

And Paul warned:

“The mystery of lawlessness is already at work.” (2 Thessalonians 2)

🕯️ Now let’s talk history (documented, not opinion)

December 25th was already sacred long before Christianity:
• Saturnalia (Rome): gift-giving, feasting, role reversal
• Sol Invictus: the “Unconquered Sun,” officially celebrated Dec 25th
• Mithraism: sun-god worship tied to the winter solstice
• Evergreen trees, candles, yule logs — all pagan fertility and sun symbols

These were not redeemed.
They were rebranded.

This wasn’t faithfulness — it was compromise for mass appeal.

“Do not learn the way of the nations.” (Jeremiah 10)

⚖️ What makes this day unique

Other holidays divide people.

This one unites them.
• Believers and unbelievers
• Churches and corporations
• Pagans and skeptics
• Truth and tradition

All saying, “This is fine.”

That’s not unity in truth.
That’s collective disobedience.

“There is a way that seems right to a person, but its end is death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

🔥 The deeper issue isn’t December 25

It’s authority.
• Yahweh set His appointed times (Leviticus 23)
• Man set his own
• And then declared God’s irrelevant

Daniel warned this would happen:

“He will think to change the appointed times and the law.” (Daniel 7:25)

And Yeshua said plainly:

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ but don’t do what I say?” (Luke 6:46)

🕊️ This is not an attack on people

It’s a call to teshuvah — to return.

God is patient.
Messiah is merciful.
But truth still matters.

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” (John 14)

Not traditions.
Not culture.
Not comfort.

❗ Final thought

December 25th proves something sobering:

Humanity doesn’t need persecution to abandon God.
It only needs a tradition everyone agrees on.

“Come out from among them, and be separate.” (Isaiah / 2 Corinthians)

Truth has always been a narrow path.
And today makes that clearer than ever.

THE MODERN CHURCH LOOKS JUST LIKE THE WORLD — AND THAT SHOULD TERRIFY US

Let’s be honest.
When you compare the modern church to the world, the lines have almost completely disappeared.

Same holidays.
Same lifestyles.
Same entertainment.
Same sins.
And in many cases… the same bo***ge.

If the qahal (the assembly of Yahweh) is meant to be a people set apart, then today’s church has become nearly indistinguishable from the nations around it.

And Scripture warned us this would happen.

1. The Church Celebrates What the World Celebrates

Yahweh gave His people His appointed times — the mo’edim of Leviticus 23.

Shabbat.
Passover.
Unleavened Bread.
Firstfruits.
Shavuot.
Yom Teruah.
Yom Kippur.
Sukkot.

These are the days Yeshua kept, the apostles kept, and the early believers kept for centuries.

Yet today, the church celebrates the same days the world celebrates — days rooted in Roman and pagan traditions — while ignoring the holy days Yahweh actually commanded.

If the church and the world share the same calendar… whom are we following?

2. The Church Consumes the Same Sins as the World

According to Barna, the numbers on po*******hy use are almost identical.

Among “practicing Christians”: 54% admit to viewing p**n.
Among all U.S. adults: 61%.

Christian men: 75%.
Christian women: about 40%.

The difference between the church and the world is almost nothing.

Yeshua said the last days would be like the days of Noach — filled with sexual immorality, violence, corruption, and spiritual compromise.

3. The Church Has Rejected the Only Thing That Defines Sin

Scripture defines sin clearly: Sin is the violation of Torah. (1 John 3:4)

If you remove Torah, you remove the definition of sin.
If you remove the definition of sin, you remove the fear of Yahweh.
If you remove the fear of Yahweh, you end up with congregations full of compromise, rebellion, and spiritual blindness.

And this is exactly what we see.

Yeshua didn’t abolish Torah.
He said not one yud or stroke would pass away as long as heaven and earth remain. (Matt 5:17–19)

Heaven and earth are still here.
So is Torah.

4. The Church Has Become Comfortable With Mixture

Instead of being the holy qahal — the set-apart assembly of Yahweh — the church has absorbed the customs of the nations just like Israel did in the days of the prophets.

The prophets cried out against mixture. John the Immerser cried out against mixture. Yeshua confronted mixture in every synagogue He entered. The apostles warned about mixture in every epistle they wrote.

Yet today, mixture is normal.
Holiness is strange.
Obedience is “legalism.”
Repentance is optional.
And rejecting Torah is called “freedom.”

This is not the gospel of the Kingdom.
This is not the faith once delivered to the saints.
This is not the assembly Yeshua said He would build.

5. The Modern Church Is Not Set Apart — It Is Blending In

When the people of Yahweh become indistinguishable from the world, judgment always follows.

Read the prophets. Read Revelation. Read the words of Yeshua.

He does not change.
His standard does not change.
His covenant does not change.

The problem is not the world.
The problem is a church that has lost its identity as the qahal, the covenant people called out to be different.

6. But Yahweh Is Raising a Remnant

A people who will come out of Babylon.
A people who reject lawlessness.
A people who return to Torah.
A people who walk as Yeshua walked.
A people who are done blending in and ready to be set apart.

This is the remnant He is gathering in the last days.

Not those who claim His name…
but those who hear His voice, keep His commandments, and follow the Lamb wherever He goes.

Choose this day whom you will serve.

Most of us were taught to picture the “armor of God” in Ephesians 6 as Roman military gear. But once you read the passage through Hebraic eyes, the whole picture changes.

Paul never says, “Put on the armor of Rome.”
He says, “Put on the armor of GOD.”

So the real question is:
Where does Scripture show us Yahweh’s armor?
And who did He actually put on the front lines of Israel’s battles?

Hint: it wasn’t Roman soldiers.

Every piece of the armor Paul lists already appears in the Tanakh — not in Rome.

1. Belt of Truth
• Isaiah 11:5 — Truth is the belt around His hips.
• Exodus 28 — the priest’s sash (avnet).

2. Breastplate of Righteousness
• Exodus 28 — the kohen gadol’s breastpiece of judgment.
• Isaiah 59:17 — Yahweh puts on righteousness as a breastplate.

3. Feet Prepared With the Good News of Shalom
• Isaiah 52:7 — “How beautiful are the feet of him who brings good news… who proclaims shalom.”

4. Shield of Emunah (Faithfulness / Trust)
• Genesis 15:1 — “I am your shield,” Yahweh tells Avraham.
• Psalm 91:4 — His faithfulness is a shield.
• Proverbs 30:5 — He shields those who take refuge in Him.

5. Helmet of Salvation (Yeshua)
• Isaiah 59:17 — He puts the helmet of yeshua on His head.

6. Sword of the Spirit — the Word of Elohim
• Deuteronomy 33:2 — His fiery Torah goes forth.
• Isaiah 49:2 — His mouth is like a sharp sword.
• Hosea 6:5 — He cuts with His Word through the prophets.

Paul isn’t drawing from Roman armor.
He’s quoting the TANAKH.

And here’s the part Western Christianity almost never talks about: In Scripture, the “front line” of Israel’s battles were led by the priests.

Not because they were expert fighters. But because Yahweh’s presence was the real weapon.

Jericho — Joshua 6
Who marches first?
Not warriors — priests carrying shofars and the Ark.

Jehoshaphat — 2 Chronicles 20
Facing a massive army, Yahweh says, “You won’t need to fight.” So the king sends singers and Levites ahead of the army. The moment they praise Yahweh, the enemies destroy themselves.

The Wilderness — Numbers 10:35
Whenever danger came, the Ark went first, carried by priests. Moses cried: “Arise, Yahweh, and let Your enemies be scattered!”

Their “weapon” wasn’t steel.
It was holiness, worship, obedience, and Yahweh’s presence.

That is exactly what Paul is talking about in Ephesians 6.

When Paul says to “stand” (Eph 6:13), he’s repeating the exact language of the Tanakh:

• Exodus 14:13 — “Stand firm and see the salvation of Yahweh.”
• 2 Chronicles 20:17 — “Stand firm… Yahweh will be with you.”
• Isaiah 7:9 — “If you do not stand firm in emunah, you will not stand at all.”

Spiritual warfare is about standing as Yahweh’s priests — in obedience, trust, and holiness — while HE fights for us.

So what IS the “armor of God”?

It’s not Roman cosplay.
It’s not metal plates or a gladiator costume.

It’s the priestly wardrobe of Yahweh’s people:

• Truth wrapped around your life
• Righteousness guarding your heart
• Shalom guiding your feet
• Emunah (faithfulness) as your shield
• Yeshuah (salvation) covering your mind
• Torah and Yahweh’s Word as your sword

This is why Peter calls us “a royal priesthood” (1 Peter 2:9), echoing Exodus 19:6.

We’re not called to march like Caesar’s legions.
We’re called to stand like Yahweh’s priests at the front of the battle.

The Western picture collapses once you return to the ancient path:

The armor of God isn’t Roman armor baptized.
It’s the priestly, prophetic clothing of Yahweh’s people — worn on the front lines of a very real spiritual war.

Stand firm.
Put on HIS armor.
Fight like a priest of the Most High.

Love is proven by what God does toward those who reject Him.

He gives them life.
He gives them His image.
He warns them.
He reaches out through prophets.
He sends Messiah.
He offers forgiveness.
He gives space to repent.
He grieves over their rebellion.
and He judges fairly in the end.

Love gives freedom.
Love gives opportunity.
Love gives mercy.
Love also gives justice.

The people who reject Him weren’t created for condemnation — they walked into it despite His efforts to pull them out.

God’s sovereignty is not a chessboard where He moves pieces. It’s more like a master musician who can make beauty even when the instrument is out of tune.

Human choices do not stop His plan — He works through them.

“Yeshua answered them, ‘Be careful that no one deceives you.’” — Matthew 24:4

When Yeshua’s disciples asked Him, “What will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?” the very first thing He said wasn’t about war, famine, or earthquakes. It was about deception.

The greatest danger in the last days isn’t chaos in the world — it’s confusion in the church.

Yeshua warned that MANY would come in His name — claiming to represent Him — and would lead many astray. (Matthew 24:5) He wasn’t warning about atheists, politicians, or pagans. He was warning about teachers, pastors, and leaders who would use His name while teaching against His ways.

How do we recognize them? Scripture gives us clear signs:
1. They reject Yahweh’s Torah. Yeshua said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (John 14:15) The spirit of the anti-Messiah is lawlessness — twisting grace into permission to sin (1 John 3:4, 2 Thess 2:3).

2. They mix truth with lies. Like the serpent in Eden, they quote Scripture — but they twist it just enough to make disobedience sound holy. “Did God really say…?” has become “We don’t need to obey that anymore.”

3. They teach what is popular instead of what is true. Paul warned that in the last days people would gather teachers to tell them what their itching ears want to hear (2 Tim 4:3). Many modern churches have traded repentance for entertainment, obedience for emotion, and holiness for comfort.

4. They oppose those who return to obedience.
Just as the prophets were hated for calling Israel back to Torah, those who return to Yahweh’s ways today are mocked by both the world and much of the church.

True teachers don’t lead people away from Yahweh’s commands — they lead people back to them. They teach repentance (teshuva), obedience, and faith in Yeshua as the living Torah.

Yeshua’s warning still echoes today: “Be careful that no one deceives you.” We discern truth by comparing every message — every sermon, every “Christian” tradition — to the Word of Yahweh.

In the last days, deception carries a Bible and preaches from the pulpit.

10/31/2025

Israel’s greatest danger was never atheism; it was syncretism — blending the worship of Yahweh with pagan customs.

Yahweh repeatedly warned:

“Do not inquire after their gods, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.’” (Deuteronomy 12:30–31)

This exact deception — worshiping Yahweh “their own way” — continues today under religious traditions that have Roman and pagan origins, such as Sunday observance, Easter, and Christmas, which replaced Yahweh’s appointed times (mo‘adim, מוֹעֲדִים) in Leviticus 23.

The narrow way:
Meditate on Torah → Submit to the Messiah → Walk in trust → Repent when failing → Await righteous judgment.

Ni**od: A Shadow of the Anti-Messiah and his System

From the beginning, Yahweh revealed His truth — and the enemy has always tried to counterfeit it. One of the earliest examples of this rebellion is found in a man named Ni**od.

Genesis 10:8–12 tells us that Ni**od was “the first powerful ruler on earth… a mighty hunter before Adonai.” In Hebrew, this phrase can also mean “in defiance of Adonai.” Ni**od wasn’t just a strong man — he was the world’s first tyrant, a man who led others in rebellion against Yahweh’s authority.

His very name, Ni**od (נִמְרוֹד), means “rebellion.” The Hebrew word for “mighty one,” gibbor (גִּבּוֹר), can mean “warrior” or “tyrant.” Together, these reveal his nature: the first rebellious tyrant on earth, a man determined to oppose Yahweh’s kingdom and establish his own.

Scripture tells us the beginning of Ni**od’s kingdom was Bavel (Babylon), Erekh, Akkad, and Kalneh in the land of Shinar — and later Nineveh, Rechovot-Ir, Calah, and Resen in Assyria. In Hebrew, the meanings of these cities expose his methods of conquest and control:

* Bavel (Confusion by mixing) — He conquered by blending truth with lies, creating spiritual confusion and mixing worship of Yahweh with false gods.

* Erekh (To prolong or extend) — His rebellion spread slowly, through patient infiltration of falsehood.

* Akkad (Subtle, strong) — He strengthened deception over time.

* Calneh (Fortress of Anu) — A city named for the false sky-god Anu, father of Inanna/Ishtar — the foundation of Babylon’s false religion.

His second group of cities shows the next phase of control:

* Nineveh (Abode of Ninus) — A city linking directly to Ni**od’s own deified image.

* Rechovot-Ir (Wide streets) — The broad and easy path, not the narrow way of Yahweh (Matt 7:13).

* Calah (Completion or strength) — A strong, finished empire built on rebellion.

* Resen (Bridle) — Symbolizing how he controlled the people’s direction — their thoughts, actions, and worship.

Through these cities, Ni**od introduced Anu and the Anunnaki, creating the “family of gods” later mirrored by every pagan system: Egypt’s Osiris-Isis-Horus, Greece’s Zeus-Hera-Apollo, Rome’s Jupiter-Venus-Cupid. He replaced Yahweh’s truth with a false trinity — a counterfeit kingdom of idolatry and control.

This was not merely political power; it was spiritual warfare. Ni**od’s kingdom was built on confusion, deception, and domination — the blueprint for every worldly system since. Revelation calls this same system “Babylon the Great,” the mother of idolatry, and warns Yahweh’s people: “Come out of her, My people, so that you will not share in her sins.” (Rev 18:4)

Deuteronomy 12:29–32 warns us not to worship Yahweh as the nations do. Yet much of modern religion still follows Ni**od’s pattern — mixing truth with pagan practices, creating a counterfeit form of worship that rejects Torah and exalts man’s ways above God’s.

This is why Daniel 7:25 says the lawless one “will speak words against the Most High and try to change the appointed times and the law.” The anti-Messiah will walk in the same rebellion as Ni**od — deceiving the nations, twisting truth, and seeking to control through lawlessness.

But Yeshua, the true King, came to reverse Ni**od’s rebellion. He restores order where there is confusion, truth where there is deception, and obedience where there was defiance. His kingdom is not built on domination but on righteousness, humility, and love grounded in Torah.

From Ni**od to Babylon to the final beast, the spirit of rebellion and lawlessness has driven man to exalt himself above Yahweh. Yet Yahweh’s plan stands firm — to dwell with His people and reign through His Messiah.

Stay tuned — in our upcoming project, we’ll uncover how these ancient patterns reveal the strategy of the enemy and the redemption plan of Yahweh through Yeshua.
