Our Youth & Parish Education Ministries are growing, and there are so many ways to get involved! Whether you enjoy working with little ones, teens, special events, or simply lending a helping hand, there’s a place for you to serve.

Opportunities include Sunday School, Middle & High School Bible Studies, Wednesday Evening Cross Training, BLAST Events, Vacation Bible School, and other youth ministry activities.

🌱 Help grow our ministries by modeling participation!

To serve directly with our children and youth, volunteers must:

Be a member of St. John Lutheran Church for at least 6 months
Complete the 1.5-hour MinistrySafe Sexual Abuse Awareness & Youth Ministry Training

📍 Fellowship Hall

Can’t make it that evening? No problem! The training can also be emailed to you to complete at home.

You don’t have to lead everything—you simply have to be willing to serve. Your presence makes a difference!

Reminder: Cross Training Kickoff is Tomorrow!

Join us Wednesday, September 2 from 6:00–7:30 PM in the St. John Lutheran Church Cafeteria for our Cross Training Kickoff Dinner & Family Game Night!
All 1st–8th grade students and their families are invited. We’ll enjoy subs, chips, ice cream sandwiches, a scavenger hunt, and fellowship.

Thank you to all that came out and supported the Pie Pan this past week at the Defiance Count Fair. Today we had a three way tie for our office staff to get the pie in the face.
