What if repentance is not about God wanting to punish us, but God calling us back to life?

This Sunday, Ezekiel gives us a powerful invitation: “Turn back, turn back from your evil ways.” Not because God delights in judgment, but because God desires that we live.

Where is God asking you to turn?

Join us Sunday as we hear God’s call to Turn and Live.

Following Jesus is easy when faith costs us very little. But what happens when forgiveness is hard, love requires sacrifice, or discipleship asks us to let go of comfort, pride, or control?

This Sunday, Jesus says, “Take up your cross and follow me.” Paul tells us what that kind of life can look like: genuine love, patience, mercy, peace, and overcoming evil with good.

It is one thing to say, “Jesus is my Savior.” But what happens when Jesus says, “Follow me,” and the road leads to the cross?

Join us this Sunday as we consider When Following Costs Something.

Jesus asks a question that still reaches us today: “But who do you say that I am?” It is one thing to believe in Jesus quietly. It is another to live in a way that reflects him—and to be willing to say his name when the moment comes.

This Sunday, we will explore what it means to answer Jesus with both our lives and our words.

Who Do You Say I Am?
Say It. Live It. Share It.

Join us Sunday at 11:15 a.m. at Deering Lutheran Church.

What happens when someone cries out for mercy…and the people closest to Jesus would rather send her away?

This Sunday, we hear the story of a desperate mother, stubborn faith, difficult words, and a mercy that refuses to be rationed.

“We are beggars; this is true.” And the good news is this: there is more than enough mercy—for her, for the disciples, for you, for me, for all peoples.

Join us Sunday at 11:15am as we gather around the Word and hear again that the Church does not belong to us. It belongs to Christ.
