The Battle Still Rages

Today’s sermon from Romans Chapter 7 reminded us of the ongoing battle between our old self and our new identity in Christ. The struggle is real, but we don’t have to fight it alone.

We must continue to pray, seek God, and grow in a close relationship with Him. When we draw near to God, He gives us the strength we need to keep fighting the battle.

Youth Sunday 💙

What a beautiful and meaningful Youth Sunday we had! Our youth did an outstanding job, sharing their gifts through beautiful and heartfelt music. They truly are the church of the future, and we are so proud of each one of them!

Pastor Bert delivered a thought-provoking message entitled “Free at Last” from Romans chapter 6. As Christians we should not continue to practice a sinful walk. Although we are all sinners, true believers should be dead to sin and not follow it.

We are so blessed by our youth, our pastor, and our church family. What a wonderful day of worship! 🙏❤️

What a wonderful service today at First Baptist Church of Deep Run! ❤️

Today’s sermon from Romans was titled “Life or Death.” We were especially blessed when one of the children prayed during Children’s Minute. What a precious reminder of the faith of a child. 🙏

We enjoyed beautiful music from our choir and a special time of fellowship and greeting with one another.

We are truly blessed beyond measure to have such a wonderful pastor and choir. Thank you, Lord, for our church family and for the opportunity to worship together! ⛪️❤️

What a great day to be in God’s house!
