The Courts of St. Catherine "But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." - Matthew 6:33 The Courts of St.

Catherine Mission Statement

At St. Catherine’s Spiritual Baptist Church, our Mission is inspired by the book of Matthew 6:33, which states:

“BUT SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ALL THINGS WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU AS WELL…”

Our Mission is to passionately pursue the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, placing it as the foremost priority in our lives and as the guiding principle in all that we do. We believe that when we wholeheartedly seek after God’s Kingdom, all other areas of our lives will fall into place. We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community, where individuals from all walks of life can come together to worship, grow, and serve alongside one another. Through engaging and relevant teaching, authentic worship, and intentional discipleship, we aim to equip and empower individuals to live out their faith in practical ways impacting their families, communities, and the world. As a church, we are dedicated to fostering an environment of love, grace, and compassion, reflecting the character of Christ. We strive to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our congregation and those in our local and global communities. By actively engaging in acts of service, outreach, and missions, we seek to make a positive difference in the lives of others, sharing the transformative power of the Gospel. Ultimately, our Mission is to honor God, follow the teachings of Jesus Christ , and be guided by the Holy Spirit. By seeking God’s Kingdom and His righteousness above all else, we believe we can make an eternal impact, both individually and collectively, as we partner with God in His redemptive work in the world.
