Another great 5th Sunday gathering for our Men’s Leisure Group!

Today, the men had a special reason to celebrate as they welcomed Jeremiah to the group and showered him with blessings for his upcoming wedding. The men extended a warm welcome, sharing their blessings for a happy, fruitful marriage and a lifetime of joy. Across generations, seasoned members offered invaluable wisdom on building a successful partnership rooted in trust, respect, and commitment.

Join us in wishing Jeremiah and his future bride a joy-filled and life long marriage!

Rejoicing with Ashakie and Javane today as their sweet baby boy, Asire Tavane Robinson Parrilla, receives the sacred sacrament of baptism! 🕊️✨

It was such a beautiful, blessed service officiated by Pastor Crispin. May the Lord guide, protect, and surround little Asire with His infinite love and grace every single day as he grows in faith.

On the final day of VBS, Peter and John were at the temple and performed a miracle for the man at the gate who had been lame since birth. He had faith and hope in God, and now he can walk.

The Challengers made Cocoa Mug Picture Frames to remind them that placing hope in God gives us joy when we face challenges.

In science, the Challengers learn that even though a can of soda was shaken, it did not explode when opened because the Challengers took time, rotated and flicked the can before opening. In life, taking time to share a little hope can make a difference to someone.

We ended with a graduation ceremony, where everyone received their certificates, followed by a snow cone party.

A very heartfelt thank you to Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church for again loaning us all the materials to help make this year's VBS a success.

A HUGE thank you to Sisters Gloria and Luann for organizing everything so beautifully. Thank you to all the teachers, media volunteer and volunteers who brought food.

On Day 2 of VBS, the Challengers made Sun Catchers. Jesus prayed for strength to do something difficult, and the light from the sun catcher can remind us that the light of Jesus overcomes darkness.

For the science project, the children made snow. Just like the snow grows right before our eyes, prayer can be an invitation for God to transform us.

Game of Crawl and Waddle. Reminding the children that Jesus can hear us when we pray, no matter if we are lying down, standing, kneeling, hands in the air, or with heads bowed. He hears us when we pray.

The adults played Bible Chapter Hangman again with their teams, The Incredibles vs The Falcons. After much competition, the Falcons came back for the win!

This year for Vacation Bible School, we went on a Snowball Mountain Challenge.

On Day 1, when we arrived at Snow Mountain, we visited the Snack Station for a meal before moving on to the Celebration Village. There, we met our AD (Activities Director) and a special guest, Ollie the seal, who helped us Challengers prepare for our first challenge. Everybody memorized and recited our Mountain Motto: "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me". Philippians 4:13. We learned fun songs and dance moves with the Jam Band.

We traveled on the Lift to our Bible story time. The Lift Lesson was “I can share my gifts!” Joseph showed that he can share his gifts by interpreting dreams.

Afterwards, we traveled to the Crafts Station, where everyone made a kaleidoscope as a reminder that God uses difficult events in our lives to create something full of beauty and purpose.

While the children participated in their outdoor challenge, the adults formed two teams, The Incredibles vs The Falcons, and played a competitive game of Biblical Pictionary. The Incredibles came out on top and took home the prize.
