Lela Moser of Scottsboro High School in Alabama is being celebrated after an extraordinary graduation season filled with academic, athletic, and leadership achievements. The standout senior graduated as valedictorian with a 4.45 GPA, becoming the school’s first African-American valedictorian while also earning more than 100 college offers and 29 academic cords. Beyond the classroom, Lela won seven state track titles, served in multiple leadership organizations, and was crowned prom queen. She will attend Auburn University on a full scholarship to study aerospace engineering, inspired by the film “Hidden Figures.” Family members say her relentless work ethic, determination, and love for Dunkin’ iced coffee helped fuel her incredible success. 🎓
